Nice to be remembered (even if it is a piss take).

Anyway I agree with most that has been said namely c shares to the value of £5.1m have been issued

These shares DO include voting rights (and dividends)

C Shares issues are NOT new for FV the last allocation on 1st August 2025 was also for C Shares and included voting rights and dividends (these shares were bought by Sharon, James, both the Luckock brothers and BMLL Ltd)

HOWEVER as been mentioned the thing with these C Shares is that on return of capital (say when someone takes over the company) the holders of the C Shares not only are the first in line to be paid, they are also get 2.2 times their money back (so they put in £5.1m and if FV is sold tomorrow they will get £11.22m back!

(Not bad for a days work).

Maybe EEP are here acting as the middleman to sell FV to some person or company who can take us on to the next level?

Who knows but they are here for some reason, that's for certain, and sticking an extra £5.1m in the pot is not going to suddenly turn us into title contenders, is it?

So in effect a Bonus for the current management to step aside?

Oh and if I can be told to fuck off when talking about finances on the Transfer thread and told to get back on to this thread (and stay here), then don't you think you lot should fuck off somewhere else if you want to reminisce about your favourite confectionary bars, what is the correct name for the bread based product you eat chips from, whether you should grease the inside of hotdogs and don't even know that 'mam' is the respectful way to refer to your mother (after all we are mammals (milk producing creatures) from a woman's mammary glands (breasts if you are grown up, bobbies if you aren't)).

And you lot have the gall to say what I talk about is dull and boring...

Nothing to do with management.

We are talking about the owners.

And fwiw between Sharon, James the Luckock's BMLL Ltd and now (presumably) EEP they most own over 90% of the shares in FV if not more.

The only one who would seem to miss out right now would be the bloke who bunged in £1m (the Bolton School old boy)

iirc even the government shareholding was twice the amount of what they invested which I believe was only £2.5m and not the £5m which was widely reported at the time.

Irony not being your strong point then?

When i said management of course i was on about the owners.....Possibly a goodbye bonus

Or perhaps like a few on here think it will be for three new power washers and 2000 litres of gunmetal paint for the pylons

That'll only happen if we get our operating costs down and do well enough on the pitch. Ain't no-one buying us in L1.

I didn't know dark bounties existed but they sound immense.

Sadly they do not.

Stopped about 3 years ago. I recently asked if they were returning but was told they were not.

Proper shite that is.

They can be relatively easily made at home with desicated coconut, consensed milk & dark chocolate melt.

There is probably a good reason why Sharon and the rest are buying C Shares but the only thing that comes to my mind is to put themselves on the same level as the government share scheme.

Sharon, James and Nick Luckock put money into FV before the change to C Shares 2.2 returns, so in a sense they are 'protecting' their investment in that C Shares are paid out first and there may not be enough left over from a sale to pay A Shares out in full (I'm not even sure it works like that, I would have though the person/company buying FV would offer £X amount for C Shares and £Y amount for A Shares - or something like that) as after all apart from Sharon James, the Luckocks, BMLL Ltd, the government, EEP and the Bolton School old boy, there isn't anyone else to deal with?

Maybe they did it because they had agreed some months back with EEP to give them 2.2 return on investment and did the same just to negate them having any preference in future payment over themselves?

I don't know, I'm only guessing.

There is always a buyer if the price is right, whichever division a club is in.

The problem is the seller finding someone to pay the price they want though.

So was I.

I'd love to have a pint with you mate, even have one with most of the ones on here that slag me off too but I'm an old fart these days and I can't take the alcohol anymore, if I have more than a couple I'm wrecked the next day.

I imagine you to be exceedingly good company and a great laugh and I'm only joking with you above (just so you know).

Thanks for the offer though.

eeee I used to really like 5 Centres. Would probably find it really sickly today.

Nothing's beating a Pyramint though, not even a Secret.

Oh don't. Just even the mention of them brings back a pang of nostalgia. Can taste 'em now. Shove the whole lot in your gob at once for a subtle melange of flavours. Do it three time and you'd be sick as a nun. God I miss them.
