A nice round figure, don't you think?I ignored this when I saw it earlier.biggest question is probably if it’s $ or Franc…. May give a view on the future.Interesting (in a stuffy kind of way) that everything is converted to A shares. Wait on the rest but assuming that means no premium on return. Friday at 10:163 days if anyone cba watching it like myself, summary belowIn this video, Bolton Wanderers FC Chairman Sharon Brittan reflects on the club's successful journey since 2019, culminating in their recent return to the Championship after a magical day at Wembley (0:10 - 1:30).Key takeaways from the discussion include:The Power of Community: Sharon emphasizes that the fans are the "fabric" of the club. She highlights the importance of authentic, trusted communication with supporters, which has been the bedrock of the club's rebuilding process (1:45 - 4:45).Sustainable Growth: Moving away from a single-funder model, the club has adopted a broader investor base to ensure long-term stability and sustainability, a strategy she believes has been validated by their recent success (10:20 - 11:20).Strategic Partnerships: The club has brought on new minority shareholders—Francesca, Tim, and Keegan—not just for investment, but to add strategic value and enhance the overall fan experience (11:35 - 13:05).Looking Ahead: Despite the increased pressure and "eye-watering" financial demands of the Championship, Sharon expresses confidence in the club's operational efficiency and the collective effort of the staff and supporters to continue their "epic journey" (14:10 - 17:05).Community Impact: Sharon shares a touching personal story about spreading a lifelong fan's ashes on the pitch, underscoring how deeply connected the club is to the lives and hearts of its town's people (17:35 - 18:25).
Friday at 10:233 days And there are people of Facebook who want her to step aside because we have not spent a load of money on a centre forward.

Unimaginable after 150 years you’d think, but Bury FC made it very, very real. Here we are with our beloved club intact though, back in the Championship. So much to be grateful for.

Saturday at 05:452 days Absolutely brilliant interview, she really does get us. Sharon looked quite emotional at times. And still buzzing from Wembley.
Saturday at 15:022 days Popular Post speaking to a fella who works in the club shop today while he was sorting the little ones kit out I made a comment on how busy it was, he told me 5 years ago, we struggled to sell 8000 kits, we're now over 30,000 sales a season

Presumably we are making at least £20 profit on each one, So that soon adds up.

Sunday at 14:321 day @Sluffy football clubs generally lose money. FV tend to drip money in via directors loans and convert to shares later. So the cash was likely there and their 'investment' is just moving from one balance sheet line to another. It will likely only become clear once the accounts are published. Clearly you enjoy trying to work it out, personally I start from the position that FV know what they are doing and it'll be reet.
Sunday at 14:571 day Think someone alluded to it before but a set of a accounts don't reflect fuck all in the grand scheme of things.I'm saying this as I'm filling my £12,749 earnings for 2024

Sunday at 15:031 day Carrs wanted to put up supply prices by 40% which means the club would have had to do the same. No idea if this actually happened but I guess there has been a price rise. Edited Sunday at 15:071 day by jmjhb

Sunday at 15:151 day Lad got asked outside the stadium if he preferred a Jacket Spud or a Pasty.. said pasty and got a free steak one. 3 Lads 2 wearing Preston shirts filming it.
