Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett

I find him utterly irritating. Poor man's Connor McGregor.

And that post fight interview with Paddy was fucking amazing. Can't stress enough how important it is to talk about it. It's recently saved my life.

Yes thanks pal, I'm getting there. Just want to stress how important talking about it helps, probably better on the mental health thread but that Paddy interview really struck home. Talk to

He can fight but he's a childish nob. The pre-fight photo call confirmed this.

Agreed but thought he handled himself well after the fight tonight, no stupid call outs and used his platform well to make a statement about the stigma with mens mental health which I think we can all relate to.

What's his shit hair about? I got made to watch it and that's the first thing I noticed. That and it's very homoerotic.

Fair play to him.

Spot on. Blokes who like blokes grappling in their gruds probably have a few questions about themselves.

Just seen the fight. One for the grappling fans let's say.

Just been looking at the UFC rankings. He's 39 in the division. It seems the top fighters are more concerned about fighting each other rather than League 1 fighters. So until "the baddy" fights someone in the top 10 then he's just a card filler with a gob.

I know, I was there. That was the best takedown of the night, by a long way

He also, it seems, a stadium filler as well. It was a sell out last night, with the cheapest tickets being £160

The powers at UFC must absolutely love him, as he puts bums on seats

I'm no expert but I reckon the event would have sold out if he hadn't been fighting. Look, I'm no fan. But maybe my opinion of him might change like it did with Tyson Fury. Good luck to him. Pimblett and McGregor would make good viewing.

@Sweep will have hay fever on Monday after his confessional in this thread. Possibly even Seasonal Affective Disorder in the winter months too.

I like him, seems genuine and he's entertaining. My nephews a scouser and bumped into him at a cricket club a few months a go, said he was telling everyone he was going to be on everyone's tellys soon. My nephew had never heard of him and said he just thought he was the local bullshitter till everyone started talking about him last month or two.

I've no idea what's happening in UFC, fairplay to the8n obviously top athletes but it's not for me

Who is the interviewer

I assume that you are talking about Adam Catterall.  He's from Preston, used to be on Rock FM years back.

Hes on talksport loads as the resident boxing/mma man.

Presents fight night on a Saturday.

Blackburn fan.

No

Not the ring one

Makes sense its catterall

He's good Catterall, when he first started on Talksport I thought it was Vernon Kay, sounds just like him.
