Cafe marhaba is ten times as good as this and that which I found incredibly bland and disappointing.

I think this is one of the ones we used to go to when I worked in manc.

Just had a look at the gallery, and one of the chefs looks familiar.

Nearly 18 years ago now, so a bit surprised it's still the same, but it was always good stuff.

It was a lad and his dad but I was in a few months ago and dad wasn’t there nor the time before so he’s either passed away or just too old but the mum was there helping so fear it’s the former sadly.

I’ve been going for over 20years and he still remembers me everytime I go in and the food is exactly the same as it was way back.

it’s tremendous and I always try and go when I’m back in town.

Cheers

Will visit next time I'm in manc.

It's probably an old photo on the gallery- the chap looked the same- so I fear you may be right.

Watched him making a fish curry once (not for me) but loved a simple chicken curry, and basic bread. Quality.

Ah, OK. I've spotted it a few times as I've gone past the end of the back street and always assumed it was just some shithole money laundering gaff for the Taliban
