Definitely an engineeer or Dr.

speaking of Drs, one for you @kent_white I’ve just watched a tik Tok video of a Dr Robbie, he said over 50% of newly qualified DRs are unemployed. What’s the main reason behind this? I’m guessing there’s more of a need for Drs in specific areas?

There aren't the positions available according to one report I saw.

I wonder how much a new doctor earns in comparison to a director of lived experience?

It could/should have gone when the Queen died. At the least, they could have totally removed the Sovereign Grant, they've got enough money now to be self funding I'd have thought

I do think they'll get a bit of a revival when sausage fingers eventually steps aside and William & Kate get the gig. And hopefully that'll mean another couple of public holidays, which are always much appreciated

Fanciful to think anything other than the monarchy will be around for decades yet and possibly even centuries.

As fanciful as thinking scousers will stop thieving or the contrary cunt will change his ways.

GSTK.

looks like a nice fellow. I might get an AK47 tattooed on my face

Custody photo of Fayaz Khan, who has short dark hair, a beard and moustache. He has tattoos on his face, including one of an AK-47 gun beneath his left eye. He is wearing a grey jumper.

What about a P45 after Rachel has finished with you?

The monarchy effect is immeasurable.

Not only tourism, but the soft power.

Trump's visit, and the comparatively lower tariffs for example.

Who knows what effect it has.

Then there is the work that goes on- charitable, environmental etc.

It also provides a focal point and figure head for the armed forces- might not seem much, but uniting behind an apolitical system may be invaluable.

Eh?

How would that work? I'm not employed by a UK company, how will Rachel affect me, in order for me to lose my job?

Yeah this is true.

Basically to qualify a Dr needs to do

1) Go to medical school for 5-6 years to become a Doctor

2) Complete 2 years foundation training

3) Complete 3-8 years of speciality training

The bottleneck is at 3) because of a lack of speciality training places. So they can work in a limited way at a hospital for about £38,000 a year. But need to do section 3) to see that big jump in salary (which would almost double).

Plus - money is so tight at the moment that lots of NHS places have recruitment freezes on while they try to balanve the books. A lot of newly qualified nurses are also struggling to find work.

It's a catch 22 at the moment. We don't have enough staff to run services properly. But we're also being asked to save money. And that usually means not recruiting. Sometimes even when people retire or leave, they are not replaced. Which puts more pressure on the existing staff.

It's a very difficult environment at the moment.
