True, just not angry enough to bother doing anything about them. The Government (whoever it was at the time) could and should have been taken to task about it, by the public, many years ago

  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

So the government have known about this fucking slug all along and done nothing to stop him?

Then perhaps they could let the government finally get on with the job of doing something about it, rather than not really understanding what they are howling about.

It certainly seems that way, I dread to think how many people are on these watch lists*, that are wandering around amongst us

*obviously being on a watch list doesn't mean you're going to kill folk, but I'd imagine you're generally on one for a reason

It's times like these we need Tommy, to add a bit of clarity to proceedings

There’s not one single reason why this cunt should be allowed to live. Not a one. But he will and it will cost the tax payers millions to keep him in already over crowded jails in his own special cell.

I'm not aware of anyone stopping them

We don't have the death penalty in this country, if that counts as a reason?

He'll likely get a whole life tariff. Leave him to rot.

No need to be facetious; lots (including Musk) happily playing into the Conservatives hands without any knowledge of the context, history and future plans in which a national narrative can get underway which does actually hinder the legislative process because either MPs want to make personal gains from it or others are worried about their constituents turning on them because they've been led up the garden path.

See? It's not that difficult to grasp why.

Worth pointing out the referral to Prevent were because he was obsessed with violence, not because of being aligned to any ideology. Think his obsession with violence would make him a prime target of people looking to radicalise someone.

I agree with @royal white just kill the cunt.

All very valid questions.

It's just sad and probably a reflection on our current set of politicians that run our country.

Using the sexual abuse of hordes of teenage girls for political point scoring.

Aye.

Can't help feeling there are some throughout various parties that would end up squirming.

Additionally, as you say, why not focus on one group?

The very essence of the issue: folk still scared of the "r" accusations, and as it is a narrow group that is behind it, then focus on them.

Has anyone actually read the Jay report or at least bits of it?

All looks like a big pile of generic waffle to me and fuck all was done after the recommendations.

Even Jay herself says the communities need to do more.

Maybe we need and inquiry about the inquiry :)

So how does having another inquiry help if politicians ignore the findings ?

Surely getting the 20 recommendations underway is the best way to positive action ?

It has more legal punch, and could potentially lead to criminal action.

No reason why previous recommendations can't be implemented at the same time.

You pathetic weak little man.

Actually defending an inquiry into 12yr olds getting raped coz you hate those 'evil tories'.

In theory I agree and have no problem with another inquiry but whilst we have (or had) 20 unfilled recommendations lets get on with those.

A full inquiry will take years surely the victims who contributed to original inquiry deserve to see some action before being asked to re live it all again ?

Ex Tory ministers who sat on the original report have acted like real knobs over this.

This is where I am too. It took 7 years and £200m for the last one (not that the money matters when dealing with such depravity) but surely implementing the last one is the priority.

Weird times now Musk has such influence over our media and in turn our politics.

It is weird, some people seem to love it though

In the same way many loved Hitler. It’s a massive problem but it will pass - hopefully the consequences won’t be as bad.

All the more reason to bring it back in.

Never been an advocate of the death penalty, but I'm wavering a touch on certain crimes.

In this case there is absolute certainty that he did it, he's got a terror history, and there is clearly a case for it.

Dunno how it would be done though.

I see no reason he should stay alive.

How on earth was he allowed to be reported 3 times and nothing done?

He isn't old enough for a whole life tariff

But there obviously isn't any doubt he'll be spending a long time inside

Can't get behind the death penalty, falls down for me on the basic premise that killing someone is bad so as a punishment we're going to kill you.

How many kids are reported to prevent for looking up dodgy stuff?

The problem with these systems is they inevitably break when judgement has to be used and something goes wrong. My guess is here knowing the way it works is that the issue was he has no ideology and the ones they take most seriously is where it falls into a defined ideology or where there are signs of adoption of an ideology.

Generally I think prevent is a massive waste of time and we should do something else. However, no doubt there is data showing it works.
