Starmer got down on one knee for a career criminal, farage has just done what he’s done. Both bell ends and both using deaths to gain support. Quite but it is conflation. One was a movement that gained world wide support after the killing of a black man by the police in the US. Farage is using the colour of a mans skin to stoke division directly against the deceased family straight after their statement. That is not the same and is just fucking wrong.
June 2Jun 2 Late catching up with this one. What a shocking response from those police officers. Those despicable shit bags - the murderer and brother using their race to avoid arrest and kill an innocent lad. Truly awful. The most amazing response is from the family, to be so dignified and calm in not wanting this to escalate. Why the fuck couldn’t Farage and those flag waving dick heads in Southampton listen to them?

June 2Jun 2 There's a bit in the footage where a police officer says "he's saying he's been stabbed" and the murderer (or maybe his brother) goes "he's not been stabbed, I don't know why he's saying that" then a police officer (a different one to the one who's attracted the most anger) replies with "I know, but we have to check, don't we?" The dismissive heartlessness in that "I know" is quite revealing, I think, and is why I'm not really convinced it's simply a problem of the actions of one police officer They never even considered he might be telling the truth
June 2Jun 2 seeing the scenes in Southampton. People just simmering waiting for a kick off, chasing police down and throwing bins at them, there's a rancid powder keg just waiting to go off. Police get things wrong, it's awful and that shouldn't have happened.. but there's no excuse for what's happening.

And even then it's a dereliction of duty not to check surely?

He had no interest whatsover in ascertaining whether Nowak had been stabbed but far more concerned about a bit of a bruise on the knifeman. And why the need to handcuff someone who was lying on the floor limp and lifeless? Whatever the reasons this is quite possibly the spark for a summer of rioting and its another disgrace that this excuse for a Police Officer has been allowed to retire and keep his pension.

Sadly one of them will be our next PM. We can look forward to more of this shite
June 3Jun 3 Whatabout Starmer & George Floyd That’s some next level Whataboutery, even by the site master’s standards. Nearly as daft as Tommy saying white people have become second class citizens last night. You can’t help but worry about where this country is heading when folk below his shite. I’ve no issue with folk protesting for justice on this one. Those police need to face charges, but Christ this has gone way past that. Awful for the family.

Why would a lad who was running off from attacking someone be unable to even sit against a wall. The copper at the end even said his pupils weren't reacting. The way the guy just dragged him out from the front of car despite the member of the public clearly saying he was injured and couldn't sit up. They even remarked on the cuts on his face and one said he'd been beat up. It's manslaughter all day long. They let him die.
June 3Jun 3 Just read this on the BBC site. The last bit is where people get the ‘two tier policing’ accusations from. Police reviewing anti-racism guidance. A national unit of senior police chiefs says it will review anti-racism guidance that has been at the centre of criticism over the actions of officers who arrested murder victim Henry Nowak as he was dying. The National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC) has announced it will look into policies in the Race Action Plan, with NPCC chairman Gavin Stephens saying it is "listening to legitimate concerns about how some of these commitments are worded or phrased". "Where needed we can and will make changes, but this should not detract from the intent, which is to improve the quality of policing," he says. The guidance, which was issued last year, suggested officers should treat ethnic minorities differently in order to ensure what it calls "equality of outcomes".

Just had a gander, and on the basis of the pathologists report that his wounds were unsurvivable, I don't see how all the conditions would be met. https://www.cps.gov.uk/prosecution-guidance/gross-negligence-manslaughter Look at point c.
