Don't need to think about them now until it's transfer time and it has to be a huge clearout, if we went up these lot as a group would be rock bottom so we'd have needed better players, staying down after this horrific failure still needs better players, we can NOT have this lot again, which may be difficult to achieve given contracts etc but it's a MUST

Dunno how long SS will get with his own team if that happens, but it's been bad with a brief good run including a win v run away leaders, terrible, terrible season, if we keep these players and these results carry on, League 2 will be likely.

Evatt was right when he said it’s the same players. We know they’re capable, we have seen them do it but they’re also capable of being lazy spineless fuckers, which unfortunately is what we have seen more of lately.

I agree it wasn't a penalty. But at least move Baxter, even if you go the wrong way. The free kick goal was disgraceful. How on eath can a professional keeper let that in.

His recruitment has been a joke past couple of seasons though, nothing but average L2 & L1 . Hopefully Schumacher does much better over the summer.

Thought it was a nailed on penalty tbh (albeit not seen a replay). Made contact and was nowhere near the ball.

All those calling for a mass cull/clearout ....it very rarely  works . There will be a few releases and a few sales but not wholesale changes. 

Whilst we have capitulated results wise we have still been creating chances , 3 in the second half today that could have easily won us the game . 

Ive seen the penalty 6 times and I still dont think it was a penalty . 

Im so surprised by the defence . We have a 2 good keepers and when fit a solid defence in Rico, Forino , GJ , Forrester & Toal .

We dont have a DMC since MJ and that is the real problem . We have tried to shoe horn players into that position since he left . 

Id look to bring back Robocop for a full season next season , there is definitely a player in there tho he is raw . 

Who knows if any of the long term injuries can bounce back , I can only think of Ricky & Jussi that looked like they had never been away after serious injury . But the nucleas of an excellent team is still there , as it always was , just need the missing link ,

We’ve seen them when SS took over, like a new squad, then after a few games back to their old ways.

Get southwood back in for me. We try to play it back to baxter all the time when he's in the team and it exposes us a lot. 

We're just not good enough currently and that really doesn't help

It might not work but what we do know is a few changes won’t have any effect . Unfortunately we’re stuck with them

I think 5 signings is all it would take to turn this team from where it is now to a promotion winning team.

left back, right back, CDM (a real one), a fast winger with 2 feet and proper striker (who can hold up a ball).

Play 4231 and i think we smash it.

Absolutely. One of the big issues is we have too many of certain types of players, and none of other types.

The toughest job for Schumacher and the new SD will be which players to offload, and whether we can only manage to offload the one we want to keep! For example, bids for Collins, but none for McAtee and Lolos, when we want to keep Collins only.

Being up there is t good enough though the aim is promotion

We’re beyond tweaks that’s what SS said he thought a tweak here  and there  when he came in and promotion was possible.  he now realises the scale of the job in hand they will find  a way to fail as a group

Honestly it wouldn't bother me if we sold Collins. I think his effort and attitude in the last few matches has been shocking. I'm not sure if he touched the ball in the first half today.
