  1. Monkey see, monkey do.
  2. Let the other promotion challengers burn themselves out trying for automatic places. It’s always the in-form teams going into the play offs that tend to prosper so maybe we concentrate on just keeping ourselves in the orbit of the other challengers ready for the play offs. We’re clearly at an ebb but sure we’ll manage the turn of the tide. White on Tyne. Always nautical.
  3. And low tide on the Thames expected around final whistle time according to PLA so no top bombing when we win.
  4. Imagine the size of a polar-bear-sized donkey’s wanger.
  5. I guess the Yanks presumed all these balloons were Chinese was because they all looked like each other.
  6. I think just make sure we are on good form going into play offs and we’ll smash anyone. Let the algorithms take care of themselves.
  7. Wylam used to be my local brewery til they moved to new premises. Their Jakehead is superb.
  8. Always says “for my sins” when answering a question.
  9. If Carlsberg did Saturdays…..I’d still not drink Carlsberg.
  10. 5000th game seem would seem appropriate to win 5-0. But would settle for 6 if need be.
  11. Gives thumbs up to people who drive the same car as him.
  12. Hold the steering wheel at 10 to 2 and passes it through his hands to steer.
  13. Has grapes on the sideboard when nobody’s ill
  14. Only eats After Eights after eight
  15. At the other end of the scale I was in wholefood shop in Newport IOW Saturday where they have these massive drums of powdery things and cereals etc. Had tomato soup powder with big scoops sold by the 100g. Wasn’t tempted I have to say. Hope your lad get better.
  16. Hope he doesn’t punch anyone else as could do without Morley getting sent off too.
  17. I think it was Reunion island from memory. One of our French clients had an agent there who was coq a hoop
  18. Wonder if he’ll wear the fox hat
  19. Imagine standing on that when going to the toilet in the night.
  20. Tandem gloating!
  21. I was working in Liverpool in the Royal Liver Building and needless to say got full value out of that game the next morning. Had my scarf in my first floor window in full view of all passers by on the dock road. It amused the Everton fans in the office too. Not so much the following year when it made a reappearance after our win at Goodison however.
  22. We could get their other brother Trevor in especially if we’re operating on a shoestring budget.
  23. I tried to upload this photo a couple of weeks ago but it kept flipping as mirror image. I think I may have sorted it now, no idea how. Won't know until I upload. Anyway, I was in a Chinese restaurant in Southampton a couple of weeks ago and the partition between tables was ironwork in a fancy Chinese style. It was only when I looked more closely it reminded me of something. I showed the manageress a copy of our Club badge and she laughed and said their logo had no real meaning just a pattern. Go look for yourselves, it's just down the road.
  24. Ronnie Radford. RIP and only fitting to give this an airing https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63489122
