Is Diddles Real?
Dids used to post some of the most inane drivel I've ever seen on the BWFC site before they closed it down and he came on here. He DID talk utter utter shite (mostly) and quote an amazing array of confusing tactics and team sheets which really used to do my head in. HOWEVER Then he seemed quite sensitive and should I say it sometimes downright sulky when folks used to take the piss, but oddly enough, since he's been on here I like him more. I mean, the DIY disaster dancing vido was pushing it a bit, but after the cinnamon kid incident (where I fell off my chair laughing at the daft twat) he's gone up in my estimation. I suppose it maybe me in my old age, or maybe because we now regard him more of an annoying fractious little brother who desperately loves the Wanderers but sometimes is a little 'off the wall', which makes him a bit more endearing every time. Like some folks have said, he may be a bit of a mongalong, but he's OUR mongalong and I'd love to have a pint or ten at an away match with him and some of the ESL mongalongs. Fair play to the kid, he stands his ground and fights his corner when he's rattled, and like I say, if he survived a day on here, then a week, month etc....then there's potential for him being a notright. Now, an away day/night out like we did once before including the likes of LW, Smiffs, the goat shagger, NB and Satan (though satan at the time was otherwise engaged torturing the souls of scum fans in the midlands: still not far enough away) would be wholly acceptable, seriously it wouldn't be long before they were spitting their beer out (LW has a special exemption for this however) because I don't know if it's just me but he really does baffle me sideways. Maybe it's time for another pre season get together in Leyth with DD as the 'inconvenient truth' I'd never hit him though, as he probably assumes he's made of antimatter or may turn into a decepticon. Also, he's one of the few people whom I've never sold anything to that he doesn't realise he wants yet. Is it obvious I've been drinking like a mad eejit?

Is Diddles Real?
Cheers Dids, although it didn't take much to ignite the blue touchpaper that existed between Breeze and Wayne then retire to a safe distance....... I remember Breeze once buying me a pint at Reading (or was that a dream?) and Wayne buying me a fuck off big pirate hat which he insisted I wear at Watford. Aye, them were't days. I have no fecking clue what went on like. Where are they now I wonder?

Fait 500 Or Mini
This one's got parking sensors. What REALLY worries me is wimmin in Micras with parking sensors. Whoever needs them on a car the size of a shoebox shouldn't really be on the road.

Fait 500 Or Mini
I know where there might be one available very soon: Ask Daffyd before he fokks off to fokker as I'm sure he'll be biking it everywhere over there. Or hot clogging ;D

Fait 500 Or Mini
The FIAT is 'cute' in a girly way (shame 'cos it's a good car), the mini isn't a mini anymore and therefore a Beemer for gayers (fwd doesn't help because a real Beemer is ALWAYS RWD) and as for the Alfa Mito? Ugliest car on the market atm bar none. FACT with knobs on and cherries on top. Call the new one a Giulietta at your peril, because despite what the eyeties tell you and what they want you to believe, it isn't one. Buy a 10 year old Beemer or Merc instead, quarter of the price, cheap insurance, cheap bits, won't break down, bit thirsty like but consider the price. And you won't look like you're heading down to Anal Treet. Iain take note. Cure. Car bore extroadinaire and seller of Saab convertibles and low mileage BMW 530s to the masses. Well, That's what I've got to get rid of at cheap money ATM.

Things That Piss Me Off
This thread is developing quite nicely so I thought I might chuck my hat in. 3 or 4 dumps a day is certainly not out of the question, regular as clockwork me, 8am and 8pm (whether I'm near a bog or not) with one around dinnertime, but that can vary anywhere between noon and a quarter past. Saying that, Dave's homebrew is a renowned 'loosener' and I think I managed about 9 in a day last Saturday. Mrs Cure reckons there's summat not right with me as I can go whenever, wherever. Pub bogs, motorway services, back of a tree (remembering to find some fresh unused moss beforehand) etc.... whereas she has to go in the upstairs bog with the door shut whilst everyone else in the house is rounded up and penned in downstairs (well, she is a Welsher after all). No way can she ever 'go' whilst we're out anywhere. Many a time we've had to leave a restaurant early as she felt the need to evacuate her bowels. Thankfully she hasn't tried it whilst we're on the piss.........YET! I think that what pisses her off most with me is when I stop abruptly, mid shag, with 'that face on' where you know you need to pump but fear it may turn lumpy, and more thrusting may just exacerbate the situation, so I have to jump off quick and have a fast fast dump. This is what I call the 'turbodump'.

Diabetes Cure
FFS I wish they would! Mine's playing up behind my left knee again, think I might have to look in my stock of magic beans for anti inflammatories. It's a proper bastard trying to hobble to the pub 'cos I can't drive crutches! Supposed to be going for bloods on Friday but as I'm such a complete girls blouse I'm going to hide elsewhere instead, gout or no gout. The more folks you tell the more tell you they have it too! Good thing is that the quack never told me to lay off the pop, just reckons certain things can cause it. Didn't tell me what though. And I know, too much port, red meat etc........... Uric acid crystallizing in the bloodstream? Does that mean I'm full of piss?

Glastonbury
Didn't watch this fuckery, nothing like as much fun as it used to be before the right on yaaahs hijacked it! Last time I went was in 1990, over the fence with a fiver down my sock to bribe the security. Cure, James, Mondays, sure Jesus Jones played? And a little French troupe called Mano Negra who basically had the place bouncing. Not that I remember much like as I'd partaken of several bags full of magic 'beans' which were so readily available and cheap! MAny many raves in fields all night. Might go again when the kids are old enough though. Don't reckon I'd get in for a fiver either..........Or be able to climb any kind of barrier!

Another Speeding Ticket
Mrs Cure wants a new tatoo so I told her if she gets a new tat then I'm having another bike. I was lusting after a GSXR 1000 a few years back or maybe a Ninja but she was freshly sprogged so I got the 'hard stare' treatment. Now I'm worth more to her dead than alive so I think she's wavering. Problem is that being an old fat knacker with dodgy knees (after too many years aboard crotch rockets) I'd have to rest my more than ample girth (take that how you will) on the tank of an Old wing or summat. But not an Hardly Dangerous. Used to lust after one until I rode one. Unless it's a V Rod. They can just about go round corners without the need to get off and catch a bus round it. I could get a V Rod on contract hire though.

New Old Ale

Another Speeding Ticket
Was it near Kings Park? There was one parked up outside Howe Bridge Salvage last week, sneaky fecker on the wrong side of the road! Usually they park up in the entrance to Pennington FC, as you can't see the buggers until it's too late. I wafted past it at an indicated 30 on the cruise control, loads get caught out as that stretch is quite wide and quiet so they assume it's a 40. I got done donkeys years ago on Plodder lane coming down to four lane ends, I'd thought it was a 40 there forever but its a 30! Daft really as it's all fields. Except for the few houses.!?

The crazy fucked up world of diddledumb
Must admit, the boy's a complete notright and should fit in here very nicely. The cinnamon and dancing videos had me in stitches, is that a faux Ped Kay accent? He just needs to start suppin' ale and shaggin' wimmin. Ones that aren't related to him to begin with......

These Public Sector Strikes
So I went for this interview...... The Boss said that I got the job because I had all the qualifications needed and experience to boot. He offered me a decent wage, holidays, and associated perks that I could rely on for the rest of my working life, so in I went. Trouble is, three years later, there's a new boss. He says they haven't got a pot to piss in as it's all been squandered on other shit (which in hindsight could've been avoided, but hey, at the time they were printing money, and they said there would be no more boom and bust so what did I know?). So, not like I DON'T have a pension, I do, but not as much as I thought. The 'perks' have gone as the people we arranged the deals with at the time have gone bust due to promising too many people too much. I still have my job, and a pay rise, but not as much as I was assured at the time I took the job I would enjoy. Did I earn it? Well, I think I 'earn' my salary but if someone wants to give me a top up of a half to two thirds of final salary pension PLUS a tax free lump sum on retirement then count me in, I'd be a fool not to wouldn't I? Thing is, there's another few thousand of me at the door expecing the same thing. And I've looked everywhere, INCLUDING under the mattress and there's no money left in the pot! I feel so cheated, the new boss has empty pockets, but the old boss PROMISED! A few years ago when the interest rate was 13% I bought a few shares in Northern Rock which were cheap at the time. I made a bit on my dividend and expected them to rise and rise, because the man who sold them to me said they would. Then there were the bad times. The shares stopped earning so much and eventually they were worth nothing, and the man said he'd have to go to the government to help him out as there was no more money in the pot. It's not FAIR! I was told I could have my cake AND eat it. The boss said so! The man said that if I worked for him for a good wage then when I retired I would still get a good wage, even though I wouldn't work for him anymore, and as the kids would've grown up and left home and my mortgage would be paid, it seemed like a blissful future situation. This leaves me in the situation of being paid a decent pension but not what the old boss told me it would be. The new boss said there was no money left, and the man said I should stand up for my principles. I think I'll go on strike! Because I KNOW the new boss will magic some more cash up from somewhere and the man will quake in terror if I do. Wish me luck.
