IMO, the order of left backs is: 1. Ricketts - good crosser, not bad in the air, will switch off now and again 2. Robinson - solid but useless up against pace, not the best going forward 3. JLS- poor defender, is quick but cannot pass or cross as proven against Sheff Utd although he was played out of position so that has to be taken into account.

I always like games like this, I always feel derbies are best when they haven't been played for a while, the Swansea/Cardiff games were great least season The derbies that are played every year such as Merseyside never seem as good, other than the odd Manchester game I can't remember a decent derby game in the PL recently

I disagree about Robinson, he actually played well last week against Arsenal and has also been OK in the majority of other games. I have a feeling he will never be liked because he is linked to Megson

Elmander is better than Rasiak. I'm sure OC will give him some chances but I can't see him being anything other than 3rd choice. Coyle was encouraging him when he came on after he decided not to chase down a defender, I'm not sure OC looked very impressed with that.
