  1. That's what he was saying- things do work well, even though there are already some invisible borders. It was his explanation that the technologies and systems that currently facilitate the open border can still be utilised and expanded to continue with this. It was his assertion that the guys in the RoI know that but are just pushing for more.
  2. Like it. Glad its getting cold again; keeps the dogs a bit cleaner.
  3. I'm wondering if ken did sufficient homework. Surely he didn't expect crowds of 20k plus this season? Moreover given the difficulties, we were always likely to struggle a little (or a lot) which doesn't help crowds. Like you say, this has been done to death, personally I'm not arsed about crowds- we get what we get and no point moaning about it- but a discussion recently on radio five had one commentator talking about a chat he'd had with a west brom fan. The fan had reacted to pulis being sacked and said we just want to have some fun! Whether die hards etc like it or not, the match experience isn't yet that good, keep winning and developing and that may well change. This isn't a dig at Parky etc; I'm sure he's doing his best; its just the reality of the situation.
  4. The new ball is an issue, additionally, its not beyond the realms of possibility that the game is approaching its conclusion during the last (night time) session.
  5. Yeah. Come on lads. Need a good solid first session tomorrow and get them twitching.
  6. What is she going to do when she gets here?
  7. Interesting interview with DUP chap yesterday, where he explained that current systems over vat and other borders that currently exist work well. They could be easily expanded to resolve new border issues. However, the RoI rejected it, in what the DUP chap explained was a cynical grab to edge towards a united Ireland. Obviously his side's view and not sure about the accuracy, but you can understand his ire if true. Ultimately, NI is part of the UK and is most important. If Eire do try to play hard ball, it could bite them in the backside- the UK is their biggest trade partner and if they make brexit falter it won't help their economy either. Fwiw, I reckon it will be sorted later in the week.
  8. Lad at Hereford, John Mills, scoring record is ridiculously good. Around a goal a game for over a hundred goals. A few leagues down, but worth a look?
  9. Quite pleased when I saw the draw. Won't be a clash of styles.
  10. 46 mins/15 overs. Won't get them all in. Keep going steadily, no risks but don't go in your shell. At least some fight being showed.
  11. Finishing wasn't his forte either!
  12. She should have a can of tango on her lectern
  13. Heard something about dodgy dealings with north Korea by some countries around Malaysia etc. Can't remember much to be honest but stuff was being shipped illegally.
  14. Can virtually guarantee to see a deer if you take a walk though parts of Darcy lever, leverhulme park, fogg lane, through to moses gate and beyond. Just go at a quiet time and maybe off the main track.
  15. The mcdonagh goal- we had two strikers who chased it. Not sure if they couldn't quite get to it, or whether they avoided trying to control it- anyway can anyone confirm that they were Ian Moores and Neil whatmore. Memory isn't what is was.
  16. I feel sorry for any poor bugger doing a spot of fishing of the coast of Japan. Risking a bloody big rocket fucking your boat up.
  17. Doc- you've mentioned before (iirc) that you've had issues with anxiety. My condolences to you and your family (and HR), please remember you are allowed to feel shit and talk about it should you need to. Keep well, things will get better.
  18. I reckon he has issues certainly, a schoolyard bully, big insecurities. Just watching BBC parliament. Discussing it now. The Don is not a popular man....
  19. Lovely day. Saw several deer not too far from the "bunk" for the little lever/Breightmet folk.
  20. Its my "wallpaper" on this very tablet. Makes me laugh each time.
  21. If he wants to point out the threat then at least use information that is correct and not fake. And do so in a presidential manner. The bloke is a twat. Starting to wonder if he's a Russian, or even an alien. Fuck him off.
  22. MdS was, in part, an inspiration for the moors murderers. Might give it a miss...
  23. Perhaps not, not sure he'd be bothered though, probably just wants game time. If PP isn't going to play him, again not much point in him staying- he's not going to get any better.
  24. Crossed my mind too. Reckon Alf might be getting itchy feet too.
