Time To Retire Nats Shirt ?
if I remember correctly the town objected to the crest being on the shirt logo and the club had to change it sometime in the 70's. A competition was held and the current design (minus the ribbons won) Why on earth the council objected to the Bolton crest being on the shirts at that time escapes me.

Hope so too. sadly at his age and with his condition it don't look good for the great man.- Elmander To Liverpool?
Semi-literate fascist f*cking Rag!- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
No. You have the advantage of that over me, but yesterday looked a yard off pace, good tho with accurate balls played to him. would think if Elmander goes in January will need someone with some pace up front to replace him.- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
Agree, thought Muamba was out of his depth today and that it was only a matter of time before he was subbed. On the other thought M Davies had a V Good game and would like to see him paired with Holden. Also possibly more contentiously thoght SKD looked off the mark, lacking in pace. I wonder if father time is finally beckoning!?- Elmander
Coaching. (assistant manager) in Denmark apparently.- Will Never Get Sick Of Watching This.
21 April 1979. That guy was worth the entrance money on his own, sublime skills, no-one knew when he had the ball what was coming next. Standing at the front of the Manny Road terrace you could see the panic on the faces of opposing defenders week after week. Great memories!!!- Will Never Get Sick Of Watching This.

pity he is cup -tied then!- Gary Meson Please Resign!
No arguments with that sentiment, lets analyse what he has acheived in his two year tenure: 1) Has taken us back to where we were when he was appointed. 2) Has failed in two years to buy a quality midfield player who can control a game, stand on the ball and pass accurately. 3) Has wasted between 8 and 12 million on a striker who0 frankly would struggle to strike a match! 4) has brought in 3 defenders in Ricketts, Knight and Robinson, one of whom has cost ?4 million who are inferior to the players who were plying in their respective positions last season. 5) Distances himself from bad results, blaming the players, supporters - anyone but himself! 6) Is universally disliked by the fan base and has the charisma of a turgid slug. I cannot believe that even Gartside can ignore the current plight and that Meggo will be in charge next week - please!! - Nat Lofthouse
