  4. i did the marseille game on the train it was a top trip but the 11 hours back did start to drag a bit
  5. if so many of the players are unhappy and senior players at that / coaching staff in speeds case then lsl has a major problem he's eaither got to pull the squad togeather or he has to go. today was an ok performance and a bit of an improvment but facts are things behind the scenes are sounding worse than ever.
  6. no we will get spanked on sunday
  7. oh eye dead scary that maybe its scaryer to an oap. if anything stalyvagas girls are better quality to glossop girls mainly because they are mostly over the age limit compared to are lot tho
  8. its up on the woodhead that but every othere part of royston vasey is hadfield or some glossop
  9. he looked worth a punt from tonights performance, he seemed to do most things well but needs to improve his final ball and maybe not be so eager to dive into a challenge with two feet. also like the look of bratten and willy on the wings seemed to be something to build on there. as for the rest not alot of possitives to pull from them apart from cid looked better at left back again following on from his performance at fulham. thought the performance was a bit sloppy but we won so cant knock them to much but mcann on that viewing was a waste of space, if he is hopeing to take campos place this season he can think again after that.
  10. it felt like a school disco leaving tonight, could have made a fourtune setting up a tuck shop selling white lightning cheep fags and sherbert dib dabs
  11. i would recomend the etap as well it was cheep as chips and nice and clean fine for a night or two for just sleeping in plus its spitting distance from the square.
  12. what kind of pictures are you looking for, if your just looking for ones of the town halls of glossop, s'bridge and ashton and stuff like that im sure you will have no problem finding them on the net. www.glossop.com and http://www.tameside.gov.uk are not a bad places to start oh and if you meet many people from glossop most wont take to kindly to being included in tameside but ill let you off
  13. me + 1 for the first time this season, lets hope theres plenty of free seats cause at the moment im stuck with the yuff under the screen
  14. do you know craig? havnt seen him for a while he was at bolton for a while but never got close to the first team and went to oldham then stayleybridge from what i remember. played cricket with his brother and used to drink in the same pub as him for a while in tintwistle nice guy to have a chat to from what i remember
  15. sorry hands up there my mistake got my history wrong greeves was more sucsessfull but dont agree that bruce was more sucsessfull, maybe the most exsiting time in resent history but finnishing in the top 8 three seasons on the trot is hard to beat
  16. hes the most sucsessfull manager for us since jimmy arnfield, fact. but back to the point reidy did manage to keep leeds up a few years back and could possible do the job but im not to convinced myself, think there are better managers availeble
  17. a few cheap options for me could be colin colderwood, simon grayson and a very big long shot from abroad palermo manager Francesco Guidolin probably wouldnt come cheap tho
  18. the bbc will be offering you garth crooks's job with that kind of football insites
  19. oh well looking at it i guess its not a bad result derby have been playing very well at home. 4 games unbeatern now lets hope we can keep it up against chelsea but im not hopeing for to much against them.
  20. ill secound that one shouldnt be knocking a lad who is still giving everything to try and change is form. come on super kev!!!
  21. plenty of time to go lets not panic to soon
  22. i know he aint playing well but you have to give him some credit as he is always 100% loyal to the club something that is rare in the modern game. hope he can pull his game togeather because its sad to see him get so much stick when he is still trying his socks off
  23. karen carney the england ladys striker played for a 5 a-side team against mine we didt no she was a pro at the time and she scored 8 goals past us so we were all feeling slightly embaresed in the pub after the game. oh and seen as othere people are metioning cricket i once played against tufnell and had a net with a few derbyshire lads including corky
  24. last night is a move in the rite direction and shows we have good strength and depth in are squad. hopfully confidence will slowly build and things will come togeather. this is a season of change for us and it will take time if we finnish around 14th and above i would have settled for it at the start of the season. sammy lee is new to the managment game and has made some mistakes so far, we just need to hope that he learns from them fast
