How much was it last season

ESU has gone up £5 per category.

Shows the value in purchasing a ST, as it should do.....

Good.  Would be better if they put ESU up £20 per game.

Scandalous.

Few walk ups at those prices unless we’re top of the league.

ST’s look cheap now.

They look cheap, cos they are cheap

Come on. Youre better qualified than most to understand why our prices are as they are

And why they need to br

With tickets on sale for the first 4 games from Monday, a knock on effect is to reduce options for potential ST sales.  The matchday prices might persuade a few to get STs that otherwise wouldn't, but as soon as someone buys a ticket for any of the August league games, the club can no longer sell that seat as a ST (obviously), and there's already very little choice in most stands.

Think those prices will put a few off unless something is riding on a game

imagine the Derby game on sky last season at these prices would’ve shaved a few thousand off

Maybe an any game 6 game package might ease folk  in.

Sit where you get deal

ST’s are cheap I agree but once it starts with a 3 for League 1 football then you’ve got problems.

Pricing is physiological for customers and they’ve got it wrong IMO.

Is Neil's thinking that enough season tickets have been sold to cover individual matchday sales, last season 13300 were sold and now its approx 2000 more.

Should have gone 25  27  29 quid .

Averaged nearly 19k last time possibly looking at 20 plus if kept the same which would be excellent for this league

assuming Blackpool Wigan & Derby are Cat A I cant see the south stand being sold out at those prices

Almost as if it’s by design. And I would add there were plenty of good walk ups last season with similar pricing.

Blackpool depends how they’re doing. Derby the same to a certain extent. Latics will bring 3k no matter what tbh. The higher prices certainly help towards the police bill if nowt else.

We'll have no walk ins, especially if you add in bus fares or parking as well.

I know FV are not responsible for the cost of the buses (are the prices out yet ?) but it must affect ticket sales.

They are very much responsible for the cost (and the routes) given they are a private charter. Both of which would look a lot rosier if they were cashless.

c.90% of the home tickets sold for any normal game have already been sold as season tickets - they have kept them very cheap to essentially benefit the majority of the home support.

Increasing the ticket price for individual games will mainly impact away fans (and the 10% of home fans who will be picking and choosing their games and therefore should in theory not be put off by an extra £3-4). We don’t owe anything to away fans, albeit there’s a question around the morals of squeezing them as much as possible, and the club has clearly taken the approach that cheap season tickets will be subsidised by increased prices for away fans.

Sorry, Leyther, yes, you're right. I hadn't thought it through, and through the 'first four' offer I was able to turn up the bus service info. As at 35 May. There was no mention of how much, no mention of possible card payment, nothing.

Apart from setting off an hour earlier for a 3 o'clock KO.

Does the nationally accepted single journey price of £2 not apply? (£2.50 from 1/11/23)
