I think Fred the Red just likes having a moan at our club instead of concentrating on what the Glazers are doing to his club

It’s touching really.

I see the price of an East Stand Upper season ticket has now risen from the early bird £289 to £399.

All prices were announced at the end of January, it's hardly a surprise.

do Utd not do early bird prices then?

I see the decision to put season tickets up by 5% hasn't gone done well

United blamed the increase on the "escalating cost of matchday delivery" and is "necessary to allow the club to operate on a sustainable basis" - despite share prices soaring by £334million in just one day last week.

sooner they get that oil monely pouring in the better

No! Roger the Red used to insist oil money spoils the game these days. I wonder if that only applies when other clubs have oil money and your club doesn’t.

V Wolves in the McGinley play off game.

Score board in Manny Rd corner flashing up "come on you whites" Burnden belted this out and all the ground seemed to follow suit.  Now that was a song..

Spot on, hairs on back of neck when that was at full pelt.  It felt like it used to be sung at virtually every corner we had at Burnden in my time and continued for a while at Reebok, but very rare these days.  I think the lazier "Come on Bolton" has replaced it, probably because it demands less effort and less breath, its not chanted with as much passion.

I assume that doesn’t include corporate season tickets- how many do we sell there?

plus when are next seasons prices coming out?

Earliest it could be is June, once we know for certain what division we'll be in, obviously easier to justify higher prices in championship (and make bigger away followings pay more).

Interesting to see we may be touring NI & Republic pre-season.

Be nice if we do.

Rangers tops and "No surrender" sung everywhere. Lovely.

Apart from any games in the Republic and/or if we play Cliftonville or Derry (the latter probably quite likely as part of the Toal deal, presumably)

Pre season tournaments excitement has never hit me. It always amazes me that folk get excited. Especially for Ireland/Scotland etc. bonkers.

Ha, great trip, we went in the Cassidy Arms on the Falls Road, "5 pints of Guinness please" the landlord stared and said "no"🤣 he then got a phone call from Cliftonville to ask him to serve us, he did so reluctantly

Some tales from that trip
