  • How can your first take from that tonight be about Kachunga? Thought he added a bit of energy to a totally bollocksed front line. Fuck me give the lad a break ffs. We looked back to ourselve

  • You right are an absolute fucking cock I mean this in all good faith, but fuck off and “support” some team worthy of your joyless, spineless dogshit. Honestly, it’s fucking exhaust

  • Aye, possibly.  Plenty of folk do have to prioritise and budget accordingly though.  I think our support has been nothing short of phenomenal since lockdown ended and is above any criticism from anyon

We were all discussing big Vic and many were critical last week.

If we're going to get the best out of him, we have to give him opportunities.

Like Haaland at city- when he get chances he tends to bury them. If they fuck about with it, he isn't scoring.

My argument has always been pretty much at any level strikers can finish. Obviously the higher up you go the more clinical they are. Just create the chances for em. Rest of the players do their job the strikers will do there’s

Agree. Obviously some strikers will drop off and link, whereas others like to play on the shoulder and others like to attack crosses.

About utilising their specific strengths. Which I think Evatt was hinting at in a previous interview.

Anyway, how is Sheehan fairing?

I’m not with him pal he’s a bit tied up 🤣

Well so far a couple of points.

Jones (aside from the assist) is a bit of a weak link. Keeps misplacing passes and was a bit suspect for their goal.

Toal is the same. He plays some odd passes and gives it away a bit too often.

Santos playing well.

Sheehan's corners are a bit toothless. It's like watching our corners from earlier in the season.

Good start and good finish to the half - just need to stop a repetition of the middle bit :)

Playing deeper as a deep lying playmaker. Neat and tidy bit not really created much.

He plays for the foul and makes it very obvious he's backing in. He's his own worst enemy.

Can we just ban all near post corners. Give someone in the box at least a chance of winning a header. Fuck Me.

Played better second part of the half but we need to be much better in possession. Giving it away in dangerous areas through poor decisions.

Not that impressed with Sheff Weds tbh, seen much better teams than them this season.

Half of two halves. Doing alright Id say.

My Wednesday mate reckons they always sit back too much after going a goal up against the bigger teams.

The ref is totally one sided and gives them everything

Good point. He does like a wrestle and isn't always subtle about it!

He's very good when in a foot race with a defender to a ball over the top or played down the side. Perhaps not big enough to put muscle a lump with his back to goal.

They were at us for 10-15 mins after they scored, dropped off a shade just before we equalised then our goal seemed to knock them, they dropped off a lot then and made it easier for us to get out from the back without much pressure

Looks like Mike Riley’s love child… the cunt!

Our goal in case anyone hasn't seen it

My neighbour said as much. They only need one as they are so good defensively. Also said they are missing a huge player for them in midfield. Can't remember his name

Having worked so hard and got back to 1 -1 I'll be gutted if we surrender in the second half. Real test of character and focus coming up and I hope Evatt is winding them up for it. No daft mistakes, win second balls and take it to them.

Weds are this seasons Rotherham, they let you play but are well organized with intent to put crosses in at every opportunity which seems the most effective style at L1 level

Byers?

They're missing Paterson too, but they have such strength in depth it's not really a problem for them.

Bradley and Jones really need to switch on to that reverse ball from Bannan. There’s been about 6 so far

Victor off Jerome on

I think they're focused on getting down the wing so they're susceptible to it.

Bannan seems to be doing more running than he ever did with us.
