Sheffield Wednesday Friday

Can we thrive under the Friday night lights in a pressure cooker of a 30k+ stadium against probably the best team in the league?

Probably not. It has wilting, 5-0 vibes this.

  • How can your first take from that tonight be about Kachunga? Thought he added a bit of energy to a totally bollocksed front line. Fuck me give the lad a break ffs. We looked back to ourselve

  • You right are an absolute fucking cock I mean this in all good faith, but fuck off and “support” some team worthy of your joyless, spineless dogshit. Honestly, it’s fucking exhaust

  • Aye, possibly.  Plenty of folk do have to prioritise and budget accordingly though.  I think our support has been nothing short of phenomenal since lockdown ended and is above any criticism from anyon

Plymouth better be fit to run round like that for 90 minutes at Wembley!

Good performance, particularly Trafford and Santos

Them two MOTM

disappointed with Dempsey tonight but everyone else back to their normal performances.

we looked more like the team running away with the league. Shoretire started bad then showed some brilliance

Winner form Kacha

Hopefully for him he will manage at least one league goal this season. He's already gone a full season at sheff wed without a league goal, would be pretty fucking woeful to manage to do it twice.

I thought Wednesday were there for the taking, but all in all a very decent point.

Felt like we would get something and we did catch them on an off day. I think we definately should of had a penalty, ref bottled it.

It's good to go to wembley on the back of a positive result and performance.

Maybe practice corners in these next two weeks though.

Kacha on SW goal incoming

Did his usual fuck all when he came on!

Seen kacha gettin booed from the Wednesday fans, which is fair enough.....it made me think though....has anyone ever seen a player getting booed by both sets of fans??

Not convinced he actually touched the ball.

He’ll come on as a late sub at Wembley and get the winner, lump on - yhihf.

Don’t tell Duncan 😂😂 got to be worse player I’ve se3n in 50 years play for us 😡 How come he never gets injured 😡

We deserved to win that, for a team 15 points ahead of us and heading to win the the title, they were shite.

Their best hope was get their 7ft centre back up in the box on every throw in.

But still, away from home at top of the league, great point. Hopefully will give the lads a load of confidence knowing we can more than match anybody.

Onto Wembley!

Ive had enough of reading pre match meltdowns, so not bothering...

Great result, good performance

Well done evatt and all the players

Nice 2 weeks now

Made up, tbh

Bye, thread

Everybody has got to be chuffed with that

Only an utter cock would start from there

Good result all, does us no favours either way but fair play

Miles better on the ball, superb composure & passing in possession although we only managed to muster up one shot on target. Sheff Wed's looked there for the taking, a bit like when we got that 1-1 draw at the DW last season when the top of the table seems to be starting to feel the pressure a little bit. Honestly speaking we've been wank since Vale at home, even beating them 2-1 we looked badly off the pace & since then we've gotten even worse so to say we wouldn't be chuffed with the draw is bollocks so it's a good performance at the end of the day. Santos MOTM by a mile, good to see Vic score too who's had a lot of shit for his performances but put a cross in the box finally instead of overcomplicating everything & shock! a striker scores

We looked much braver on the ball as well.

Shef weds on mang occasions especially the terrier bannan tried to press us and we just went really wide and played through it.

A real blueprint of how to properly play in our style, Evatt will be made up with that. Just a few final balls were lacking.

What we're you expecting an overhead to top corner. On a coach with plenty leaving Sheffield who are chuffed with a good point. His name aint been mentioned once especially as a scapegoat. Team effort no I's in team #sheep

Jones right and Toal left made a big difference

Best performance in 6 weeks and people come on moaning about Kacha.

For those who are blind, he linked play nicely in the middle and moved the ball out to the wing a couple of times, then he got on the end of a low cross and in deflecting towards the net won us a corner.  Did f**k all else in the 9 minutes he was on the pitch.

We are not that far off consistency is the main thing for me , we are a decent team just need the players to believe .

Excellent point and excellent performance. Thought we started well for the first few minutes and then they were the better team until we equalised. After that we played really well.

1-1 was probably a fair result but I reckon if they'd had a penalty claim like the Charles incident the ref would've given it.

All in all a much better performance and hopefully a nice confidence boost for the players before Wembley.

Come On You Whites!!!

Well done all, big reset since last week, not the best start but, crucially, we didn't let a 2nd in, gradually got ourselves back into it and deserved to go in level at HT

Second half was as solid as we've been for a couple of months, better than them as it wore on, limited Bannan's effect and restricted them to lumping it a lot. Some much more sound, low risk defending from Santos, Toal (back to best again tonight) and Jones

Could see some things that were different from last week, we played it out still but did it quicker and CBs passed it forward more sharply / more often, back to how we were in Dec / Jan.

Jerome's experience was important late on

Didn't think it was a pen in real time, confirmed by replay.

Can look forward to Wembley in much better heart

Evatt out.    Fancy not getting 3 points away at top of the league
