Away ticketing arrangements 23/24

Featured Replies

Enjoyed a fair few of them last season it was only the likes of Burton, Morecambe and Wycombe where it felt like going through the motions. FGR was bizarre, Cheltenham frustrating as hell.

But otherwise they all had something memorable going on. From the likes of Plymouth, Bristol and Exeter all feeling like being on holiday, to midweeks at MK, Portsmouth and Accy in cup, London weekender for Charlton with Bolton lads everywhere you turned, Derby had a proper big game feel, Ma Kelly's after Fleetwood, someone giving me a spare at 1455 outside turnstile at Cambridge after I lost my ticket, the boat bar at Peterbrough, Wembley.

I love this time of year when it's all over with and can just relax for a few weeks and think about other stuff but when fixtures come out I'll be all over it again.

Thank god a priority scheme that would allow those that spent their hard earned being given some reward is dead and our “supporters group” can still exploit a broken system - great news

Don’t over complicate it with distance or midweek, have a look about how others do it

If I wasn’t 100% out then I am now😂

Could do with Exeter (A) being a weekend and decent weather, seeing as Junior is planning to study there from September.

Decent spread again next season.

Carlisle to Exeter is a 700-mile roundtrip.
Nailed on midweek fixtures between those two.

Results aside enjoyed stopovers at Plymouth & Portsmouth, this season I can only really spare 5 days holidays for midweekers

Was thinking of trying to do all the aways, but then I remembered I'm away in Greece in October and in the Caribbean for the cricket in December.

Once you know you're going to miss a couple, it's easy to duck out of the less attractive ones too.

Aye I fancy a weekend for Cambridge next time, looked decent.

It's time Lincoln was back to a Saturday as well but seems unlikely.

Won’t be many midweek slots left when you consider two of them will be reserved for Blackpool and Wigan.

Oh I hope those are midweek, I wouldn't be tempted to go then!

Their fans will be used to that trip, last season was the only one in the last 10 they haven't been in the same division.

But they won't be sorry that Plymouth went up!

Under the new Sky deal are nt a stupid number of Saturday games going to kick off early ?

Or is that season after ?

Stevenage is a stop on East Coast Main line, under 2 hours direct from Leeds.

Aye , from season 24-25 all league 1 and 2 teams will be on sky a minimum of 15-16 games per season.     I think this then rises to minimum 18-19 in the championship.

The new wanderers TV is a big step for the upcoming season, dont cock this up Neil (I dont think he will allow it to fail)

Yes we were there with @Biggish Dave & it was his debut. I took a “Sack the Board” banner 😂😂

Been a few times, I also remember some unearthly kick-off time on Boxing Day one year & an Easter Sat game the season we went up from Division 4.

I went when Andy May scored the winner for us.

Was it Orient we were all off to when it got snowed off or something?
Remember being at Watford Gap and finding out the game was off.

Dont know if was snow or waterlogged, but, yes it was Orient that, as we were also already nearly there as well when we got win of the postponement.
