Dr. Feelgood Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Now Nancy, at Celtic exits. Now looking for their 4th manager of this season. 8 matches, 7 loses ... 32 days. Less than Liz Truss would get. Quote

Its usually 12 months pay which isn’t too bad but they sometimes have a clause in it that the payment is reduced if they get another job within the 12 months. pretty sure its the balance of contract paid up Quote
Roger_Dubuis Posted January 5 Posted January 5 The correct decision, but how on earth have MUFC got a Bolton born Blackburn winger hiring and firing a novice from a farmers league and choosing the next one Quote

bolty58 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I know it's as unlikely as winning the lotto but can someone plant the seed in Wilcox's head that St. Wilfrid of Nancy is a very good coach and was misunderstood by the bhoys club? Quote
wiggy Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I’d totally forgotten that Jim Ratcliffe spent millions getting Dan Ashworth to United from Newcastle to oversee football decisions but sacked him almost immediately when he said that bringing in Amorim would be a bad idea. Quote

deeane Koontz Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Not too shabby with him recently getting sacked by Hull for doing a decent job. Doubt he'll last long like. Quote

Hull fans I know were glad to see the back of him, absolute dire football and had the likes of Fabio Carvalho on loan from Liverpool yet they didn't make the play offs As said he was the brains behind Rooney at Derby, like Mjallby to Neil Lennon Quote

Possibly over achieved. Cyrus Christie played 27 times for them that year - maybe a cheeky bid incoming as back up to Reece James? Quote

Did get Delap on loan but only scored 8. Signed Billy Sharp and Aaron Connolly too, hardly big signings for that level. Their first cash signing was Xavier Simons from Chelsea! He went on loan to Fleetwood soon after. Anyway he'll be gone before Christmas, we all know that. Quote
Dr. Feelgood Posted January 6 Posted January 6 (edited) Chelsea & their managers. Only 5 managers in English League history have won 2 major trophies in one season only to be sacked within 12 months. The managers were ... Mourinho, Ancelotti, di Matteo, Mourinho and Maresca. The clubs were all Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea and Chelsea. Though, to nit-pick, that's only 4 different managers. ... & correct, there's no way Leroy is going to make it. The most important thing in his contract will be its termination clause.
