Where's that ale thread gone?

I've just been on Morrison's at Harwood.

What the fuck is this all about?

Ma Bessies Apple Pie and Custard IPA.

£2.50 a tin.

Dunno which thread you mean but most alcoholic preferences get discussed in the quitting the booze thread

What? At £2.50/can? Not a hope in hell… I don’t even like IPA.

It’s been half an hour since I saw that picture and I honestly can’t stop thinking about it.

To the point that I’m considering going to Morrisons in Chorley just for one can.

Curiosity killed the cat, and all that. Don’t forget to report back.

I need another reason to go.

Coming back from a 10 mile round trip with one can of beer is borderline insanity

Buy two

I sincerely hope there is no hint of actual apple pie and custard in it.

Looks shit too.

I actually thought it was a tin of custard when I first saw it.

For balance Chorley Morrisons have a 4 pack of it for £5.50 😁

Nothing new for Northern Monk either, sure they had a jam roly poly beer out last year

Let me know when they do a Turkish delight one

They did a limited range of sunday tea ones I think, can't remember the other flavours though.

Northern Monk have been doing these nonsense collabs for a while

Surprised people are buying them but the fact we're talking about it means it's done the trick

You dirty fucking horrible disgusting deviant farmyard animal

Who the fuck drinks ale that tastes of apple and custard? Surely it is rank?

Shouldn’t really give a fuck but if people are gullible enough to fall for the marketing of craft ales, but tends to be decent local ales which are squeezed out of pubs to get crap like Punk and Neckoil in.

Wheres me elbow patches?

I'm not sure anyone plans on consuming much of it, whether we're discussing it or not.

Wouldn't touch it. Ever.

Beautiful drop... 8.5% pea wet

I'm in Brussels at the minute, blimey, there are some strong beers here. And the Belgian Beer Festival kicks off in half an hour. I walked round earlier, and there are some at 15%+ fuck that.

They're good tasting though. At least the ones I've tried.

So long as they don't taste of Belgian chocolate and camel spunk.

What's wrong with Belgian Chocolate?

Few years ago in Bruges I was in a bar that had a large menu of all the various beers they served

All kinds of fruit ones so thought I'd try a banana one, don't know why but decided when in Rome and all that

Tasted and went down like a banana milkshake except it was around 8%

Glad I noticed as that could have got messy very easily
