Back in action this weekend, am I right in thinking that we haven't played these at our gaff? so maybe another big following, anyhow back on track 3-1.

  • Great day out for my annual (unless I’m lucky) visit. Had a cracking day out with my brother and a group of friends, followed by a decent nosebag in Luciano’s. Watched the first half of the rugby at m

It was such a strange game today

2-0 up and great football and thinking 5-0 @ 66/1 was a cert

Then we appeared to take our foot off the gas to to half time

Then we appeared to shit ourselves second half

Everything that's good about us and everything that's bad about us on one game

The main issue being if the opposition are up for it and give us a game we wilt

Morley worries me.

Technically very good but just seems like he can’t be arsed half the time.

Cogley 3 out of 10 in my opinion, but we all see games different.

Agreed on Morley, some real quality at times.

Agreed on Paris, worryingly off the pace and if he's not fit it was a stupid substitution at 2-1 to take Morley off for him.

Forgot about Cogley. Agree, his worst game by a mile today. Everyone's allowed an off day though.

Don't do it again Cogley

100% Either FV chuck money in Jan or we remain league 1.

Can't understand why we weren't 4 up at halftime. They offered and threatened with absolutely nothing. We should have put this game to bed but this laboured play-out from the back, especially in the 2nd half, was counterproductive. It nearly cost us.

If we were 2 down after 25 away from home the opposition would get it forward quickly play with tempo and test us, we do exactly the opposite. Not good enough… and it’s on a regular basis.

We’ve won.

No one upset just recognising we were rubbish again after HT.

Can't put my finger on it but something doesn't sit right.

I hope its just players finding their way back to form and fitness but hasn't seemed right since Cheltenham - who we now know are shit

Seems we’re always quick to jump on anything to moan at.

say the run the week before the break, we lose at Port Vale, win Stevenage win Carlisle there wouldn’t of been as much anger,

we’ve won comfortably today, granted could’ve been more but still it’s not good enough in some eyes.

might be me how I’m interpreting things.

However watching Andy Holts meltdown on Twitter tonight’s is ace

Very happy with the win but far off the standards we need to set.

What's he saying? Always entertainment that/them twat(s)

Not on twitter and since Elon's takeover it appears I'm not allowed to have a nosey as a casual observer

Standards required in any season have always fluctuated. Think we just expect too much at times.

He’s opened his account again tonight and is off on one. It’s brilliant to watch.

The issue for me was we didn't win comfortably

We were in a position to but didn't take it

And because of that the second half was anything but comfortable and was massively relieved at the final whistle

First half was great

Second half nervier than it needed to be.

We need to kill teams off when we’re on top, and have a bit more confidence in ourselves generally.

But we’re 4th, we’d all have taken this at the start, and Evatt will be aware of what’s needed. He just needs to graft away and sort it.

#EvattOut

They're not training properly. Look shattered every game in the second half, which is either a fitness issue or mentality issue, both of which should be worked on in training.

How was the touch screen malarkey?

The passing game, keeping the ball & having the opponents run around after is supposed to wear them down ... not us.

tbf, over the years honing it down, it did. Hence the plethora of late goals. Maybe it's been worked out.

Is that not what Northampton did?

We seemed to sit back in second half, but they defo improved.

This is like the last two seasons.

I'll take a crawl and slowly improving.

I know you're being silly, BUT.

Second half, Jerome was "warming up" on WSL and appeared to be shouting orders at Bod and Dan, like an attacking coach.

If Jerome can actually share some wisdom from his better days, that's not a bad thing to have. If it means he doesn't play, even better!

711 games

160 goals

0nly 6 in the last 3 years

What Wisdom was he giving them

Great ball from him for the second goal but against dips in and out. All three of them struggled in their own ways with GT not looking comfortable playing wider and Sheehan has a tremendous habit of going missing when the going gets tough.

Spot on. Don't like to recall it but the DMB domination under old red nose had season after season of sputtering excellence punctuated with error strewn periods from the beginning of the season until Christmas. After that, consistency and long streaks of wins.

This is what I am expecting from us this season. We are in the perfect spot at present. The hunter rather than the hunted. Very happy with the win yesterday and highly optimistic about what our final league position will be next May.

That little period where Santos had the brain fart and we conceded was typical of what I mean. Didn't cost us anything overall unless someone wants to make a thing of one more goal in the "A' column. I put it down to him needing to shake off a cobweb or two.

Venters gotta vent. Just let em.
