I reckon I could sit down with Evatt for the next 6 hours and he’ll still never convince me what the fuck he was playing at dragging off Vic and Charles.

Not many players with pass marks and we were never likely to get a result when that’s the case.

Still feels fucking bizarre that whenever Pratley plays against us it feels like he’s exactly the sort of settled head we’d need when everyone else was running about like headless chickens.

An uninspiring afternoon. No fire or spirit and it never helps when your main man misses two sitters but these things happen. Christ we need to be uglier and more ruthless though. Few pints around Covent Garden then home, stewing on it on a 3 and half hour train. Thanks again @Casino

On the tired legs malarkey, so have Blackpool who literally played 120 mins vs Forest other night yet have gone to Bristol & put in a proper away performance. The way IE'S been talking recently it sounds like the Ennis deal has gone tits up as well

Not quite comparing like with like as Blackpool's opponents today played Norwich in the cup in midweek, Orient are putting their feet up most of Jan.  Its not that some other teams don't have a heavy workload, its that the teams we happen to be playing are having a run of hardly playing any games while we are playing every 3 or 4 days.

On the subject of people overreacting to performances like today, it just comes from frustration.

We know we aren't going to win every game, it just seems at the moment we need to just to keep pace.

On more than one occasion this season, I've announced to the folk surrounding me that I'd sell Santos after one of his fuck ups.

Ridiculous I know, he's one of our best.

We all say daft stuff in the moment, it's part of being a fan.

Long way to go, COYWM.

If anyone starts blaming it on us being tired or fatigued you can do one in my opinion. They're professional athletes, we played on Tuesday night yes, but barely even played on Saturday.

We weren't fatigued we just played shit and could cope against a bit of pressure. I also don't think Toal or Iredale are built too well for our style. Neither have any composure of playing out properly from the back when under pressure.

Very bad day at the office but it is just ONE match. Need a win on Tuesday now.

Toal no composure? Really!  We played midweek and chased Luton all night, professional athletes can dip in performance even if it’s only a couple of % it matters and results suffer, 3 days recovery is not enough.

Bad day at the office, move on and win the next one.

We've a small squad, we've currently got 4/5 players out (Gomes, Jones, Forrester, Big Dan and Johnston), all of which leaves us sparse on the ground.

Not a fan of Williams, good going forward but awful in the tackle, and we need Iredale in the middle atm,

But, we need to start putting goals away and I do wonder if Charles goal scoring is reflective of the service that he gets.. Would another quality striker do as well? Either way, can't see why IE brought both off at 60 mins, and it seemed very much like a knee jerk reaction.

I would expect them to have performed a bit better though. The lads have managed two games a week before in blocks- over Christmas for example.

What is weird is just how many were off it- I wonder if they're over training?

Tuesday should give us some pointers.

Let’s see what IE & FV are about we need reinforcements end of

100% we need a replacement for Charles if he cant last more than an hour.

If our plan B is two lumps up to top then thats us fucked.

I dont think Jerome did to bad, he just needed Charles off him not an infective Bod.

Charles puts the chance away in the first half and we likely go on and win it - the narrative would then be that we can still win when playing shite.

Even if he slots when one on one then I reckon we go on and win it.

He’s got plenty of credit in the bank, obviously, so I’ll forgive him, but along with Pompey they are glaring chances that point the finger directly at him - no matter how many you know he’s scored, it doesn’t make it any more frustrating when it happens.

Off days for a lot of them that we know can play far better (Toal was indecisive all game, Dempsey anonymous, Sheehan quiet) but I still maintain that our LWB position and back up striking options are our biggest problems. I really hope he gets some bodies in this week!

FV won’t sign who Evatt doesn’t think we need. Simple. Very little blame to be laid at their door if we’re quiet and to be fair I think they’ve backed him as much as he has wanted whilst they’ve all been here

what we’re crying out for from the stands and what he thinks we need are 2 totally different things. But one thing we know for certain is he and the whole recruitment team won’t be rushed or pressured in to gung-ho signings

Would've helped a bit if Morleys corners reached the 6 yard box

Thats it.

The manager cant make him cross a proper ball in or not hit the roof of the stand when there were players on.

He cant make Dion score his two sitters and he cant make Cogley not shoot when he had players lined up in the box.

He cant make Toal not pass it to theirs and he cant stop the two players chasing run any faster.

He will be fucking raging tonight Evatt. They'll be still in there now.

Fundamentals were fucked today.

Yes I agree, Blackpool played same amount of games but won away today with one day less rest
