I think we’ll win this as long as we can cope with our internal unrest

Mock if you like, but  a genuine concern. Some players simply won’t play or even make the bench when everyone’s fit just at the point we want everyone singing from the same hymn sheet on the run in. Still you know best so everything will be hunky dory. 🙂

  • Find this hilarious. If Vic played like Collins did today he’d get dogs abuse. Collins is clearly very good and will be a massive player for us, but tonight he was no better than Vic was but ever

  • Rest both and play bod with Collins.

Hang on, might not have been great, but we've made loads of chamges against a side that's just tatered Peterborough. Another game closer to getting Santos back, and a win.

Where have you heard there is internal unrest?

What’s gone on?

Just seen on the where we will finish thread. Something said about internal unrest. Nothing more than that I think.

He must of fallen out with JDB though? Is that internal unrest or does it need a certain number of people to trigger?

I know its a blow to lose Baxter but if this was last season it would be Dixon in goal for a few games, so I'm grateful we have a real keeper to call on, it could be a lot worse.  Hopefully Coleman doesn't get injured again because then we are seriously short, but we'll worry about that if it happens and hopefully Baxter isn't out long.

If it works out that some players don’t play and some don’t make the bench, that could be a good thing and maybe a sign that we are doing well. Going off seasons in the past that often teams who used less players were often the most successful.

Once everyone is fit, it will be an issue keeping everyone happy.  Ogbete didn't look to chuffed sprinting up and down on Saturday on his own.  Add Baxter, JDC, Santos, Forrester and Randall into the mix and 6 of them are missing out each game.

Think people are reading too much into Bod on Saturday.  If IE and him had really fallen out he wouldn't have been on the bench.  As for Jerome ahead of him, IE wasn't even in the dugout.  Could have been Atherton's call for all we know.

No professional footballer is overly happy being on the bench, but that's been the case forever. Anyone suggesting it's going to derail our season has gone fucking mad, and was probably complaining about our lack of squad depth a month ago.

Anyway let’s see Collins in the starting line up tomorrow night

It’s fairly obvious, with an 18 man match squad taken from a 25 man club squad, that a fully fit squad will have seven players who won’t make the bench.

It isn't a concern though, apart from in your mind.

It would be a concern if we had a much smaller squad where everyone would be included, but still had several injuries!

The loanees will go back later (probably) and with any luck, the rest will be looking at a wage rise and a higher level next season, with any luck. On that basis, they should be happy as fuckin Larry.

If not, they can do one.

It will be the case that we currently have more players signed than we'd ordinarily like, but given the injury crisis we have, there wasn't really an alternative

I think we'll be fine

Yeah. I’m struggling with that sub on Sat. I can’t think of any reason to make it over JDB

This could be season defining

Coleman isn’t that bad….a few games in and he will sharpen up

If that is true then why was he starting at Cambridge?

Hops it’s not as that would be a disaster.

Behind Santos he’s maybe our most important player.

From what I read he said he was happy to play on through the pain

He's been prone to injuries in the past so maybe said it in the hope to put that behind him

The plan was that so long as playing didnt make it worse he would play through it

They expected the swelling/pain to be reducing and it hasnt worked out like that
