Johnnyrotten Posted February 12 Share Posted February 12 (edited) I know its a blow to lose Baxter but if this was last season it would be Dixon in goal for a few games, so I'm grateful we have a real keeper to call on, it could be a lot worse. Hopefully Coleman doesn't get injured again because then we are seriously short, but we'll worry about that if it happens and hopefully Baxter isn't out long. Add Baxter, JDC, Santos, Forrester and Randall into the mix and 6 of them are missing out each game. Think people are reading too much into Bod on Saturday. If IE and him had really fallen out he wouldn't have been on the bench. As for Jerome ahead of him, IE wasn't even in the dugout. Could have been Atherton's call for all we know. Anyone suggesting it's going to derail our season has gone fucking mad, and was probably complaining about our lack of squad depth a month ago. It would be a concern if we had a much smaller squad where everyone would be included, but still had several injuries! The loanees will go back later (probably) and with any luck, the rest will be looking at a wage rise and a higher level next season, with any luck.
