May 7, 20242 yr Trains booked. £71 each open return. Stupid thing wouldn’t let me buy Wigan-Watford because there weren’t any seats, but of course Wigan-Euston is a doddle (and will end up costing us more) 🙄 Fri-Sun, staying in Watford

May 8, 20242 yr Missus thinking about driving as may only have 5 with kids in tow but looking at train now and thinking that would be a better option, just about timings getting back over to Euston.

Drove last time but walking past the station it looked rammed We went via Marylebone as there was a Bolton fanzone pub on station, there was no queue at coming back, big queues going out of London but if heading back to centre was brilliant. Think people who park then drive in use this route, it is Chiltern trains and all trains stop at Wembley on match day. 10 minutes for journey, then about 35 minutes to King's Cross
