So Crewe v Crawley at Wembley.

Is this first ever match (between teams not from the same city/town) in a Wembley final whose names begin with the same first two letters?

Arsenal v Aston Villa, 2015 FA Cup Final

(Man Utd v Millwall in 2004 discounted as it was at Cardiff)

Nope

Crawley were excellent, played football the right way. Liam Kelly bossed the midfield.

MJ only on the bench - and some thought we were wrong to offload him. Did nothing other than a trademark booking when he came on

Gracias!!! First three letters looking at it again so you are correct with Crewe/Crawley being the only one with only the first two letters the same. :D

Looked laboured and seemed to be dragging his leg whilst 'running'.

My Uni mate, and former opponent in school games as he went to QEGS in Blackburn, John Waddicor, played in that for Stamford.

Closest thing to Glen Hoddle I ever knew.

What? He was a mentalist that looked towards Eillen for some sort of devine intervention rather than coaching?
