I am sure I had 10 in but I am mechanical and thick

Will gladly take any spare tickets if anyone happens to find a ticket down the back of a settee

You'll never please all the people all the time, but if some people are too stupid to use an online booking system, that can't be helped.

FWIW, it should have been...
10am for those with 20+ aways
11am for 15+
12 noon for 10+
1pm free to all

So how do you move up the ladder?

If the 20 plus are buying all the tickets you'll never do it

As discussed previously it would be a rolling 2 years.

include home games that people actually attend.

it really wouldn’t be that hard to sort a system that works. Stop the unused tickets being used

But if the 20 plus are doing it, they're doing it for a reason and a rolling period of two years won't change that

And they'll be home fans no doubt

It works for every other club. Why we have to pretend we are above it I don’t know.

you could soon build up points etc.

the system I suggested previously would work and it would hinder myself.

I get the feeling we are in a minority of clubs who dont have a points system - even Peterborough do for Gods sake

I've no issue as I live down south so my games are limited, and missed out on Barnsley

There will be folk who just block book and use their mates references regardless of who turns up

we need something

Barnsley have something

and they use exactly the same platform as us

here's ticket info for their recent trip to Blackpool:

Tickets will be sold in the following order:

9am Monday 8th April

Tickets are on sale to 2023/24 season ticket holders with 200 or more loyalty points, strictly 1 ticket per supporter.

9am Tuesday 9th April

Tickets are on sale to 2023/24 season ticket holders with 160 or more loyalty points, strictly 1 ticket per supporter.

9am Wednesday 10th April

Tickets are on sale to 2023/24 season ticket holders with 140 or more loyalty points, strictly 1 ticket per supporter.

9am Thursday 11th April

Tickets are on sale to 2023/24 season ticket holders with 100 or more loyalty points, strictly 1 ticket per supporter.

9am Friday 12th April

Tickets are on sale to 2023/24 season ticket holders and Centenary members, strictly 1 ticket per supporter.

9am Monday 15th April

Tickets go on general sale to supporters. If supporters are buying on behalf of other supporters, then we will need their details so that loyalty points can be added to the correct accounts. Tickets will need to be allocated to the individual supporters when purchasing online.

they sold out on 12th April

you could have approved accounts like other clubs. it can be exploited but better than folk missing out constantly.

Even Blackpool have one ffs. They never sell out anywhere.

Which folk are missing out constantly?

I know someone who went to Barnsley in the play-offs last season.  It was his first away game for over 2 years.

Plenty of folk put in the hard yards last season and barely missed a game, home and away, but couldn't get a ticket.

Do you think that's right?

I only go to a handful of aways each season and I don't think it's right that I have the same chance of getting a ticket as someone who goes to pretty much every away game.

i've missed out on over 60% of what i've gone for on the initial run, easily

well i personally hve to beg borrow and steal for the Accrington semi and both Barnsley despite going to 14+ aways a season. i know plenty who miss out.

Enough for it to be a problem though.

I’ve done 18 league aways this season (plus the cup games and friendlies), wife has done 16. I got one ticket this morning. There just has to be a better way.

To your earlier point, the thresholds would be flexible enough depending on the allocation. We never sell out enough for it to be a closed shop, but we have enough of an issue for 5-10 games that something needs to be in place so that people going to the ones that don’t sell out get further up the queue on the ones that do.

i missed out on every scramble this season (Blackpool, Fleetwood, Carlisle before they released more tickets etc.) apart from today despite doing around 15 aways this season. I've missed out a lot this season. there are much better ways of doing it, and much fairer ways

I had someone else try this time after I failed last year. They failed too.  I was particularly irked last time as a relative got sorted through 'someone at the club', whereas our STs, goldlines, lifelines and 15+ aways meant feck all.

I'm all for a priority system but I'd prefer something in between Barnsley's 1 ticket per supporter and folk off here ordering 10 at a time.
