It wasn’t too bad to be fair, attacking with pace and grafting their bollocks off, he stuck to what was asked of him we want to play a certain way and he did it.

Who tells the manager what type of football to play?

The owners, he’s an head coach not a manager, he doesn’t manage the club, he coaches the team. The recruitment team select the players we wish to sign, to play a certain way, high press, highly energetic, attacking football. they’ve to be under 25 so once we’ve developed them theirs still resale value in them, we’re basically live stock farmers with footballers, so the head coach coaches the players he’s been given and that’s it.

They should've told the last guy in his interview and all this could've been avoided

We told you, not one Barnsley fan was expecting anything different, we’re all glad to see the back of this season . Major rebuild needed for us this summer. Otherwise we’re in for an even worse season next season, we’ve been piss poor all season, awful head coach dreadful football, disinterested players.

What’s your thoughts on Connell?

So when it was Duff all was good till you lost to Sheff Wed

If Duff stayed do you think it would have happened?

He got sacked from Swansea for being negative and shite. Anyone who saw his Cheltenham teams would say the football was awful

I don't understand where you think this Barnsley is going to play ace football is coming from

You'll probably want Danny Wilson back

To me great football is high octane attacking grafting football. That’s what we’ve played or tried to play for the last 10 years. Until this last bloke decided he couldn’t do it and decided to playing boring shite

It’s the worst quality league one theirs ever been.

Hmm i don’t know, 2 seasons ago when Wigan won it on 92 points, Rotherham runners up on 90 points.

Sunderland won the play - offs, but they’d looked a shambles when we beat them 6-1, yet before the game their fans were ballooning like they were Real Madrid or summat, they were fucking shite.

It's been said on here that this year's league one is poor- I don't agree, and I think it's been used as a stick to beat teams with that have perhaps underperformed at a given time.

Going back to last night's third goal, and Jerome's blocking of the keeper; in today's games it's sort of accepted, though not always, but going back some while would the blocking player not have been penalised for obstruction?

He made no attempt to go for the ball, and impeded the keeper in attempting to.

We got the benefit last night, but I wonder what old school players and refs would make of it?

Yep, for instance theres not a prayer that Wigan and Rovrum of 2 seasons ago were stronger sides than Pompey & Derby have been this season.

Heart like a pea, injury prone, light weight, the best player we’ve got by a country mile if he stays fit.

Fuckin hell, what glowing attributes would you give to the rest of your midfield?

Old school?

You will probably see similar get blown for somewhere tomorrow

The disallowed one shows how inconsistent and all over the place refs and fouls are when it comes to corners

They’re dog shit, (Phillips blows hot and cold, when he’s hot he’s decent) if anyone else wanted them they’d have gone by now, the majority of this squad, haven’t improved since we got them, and players only come to us if no one higher up the chain want them. We’ve got a fair few players out of contract in the summer, and they’ve not been offered new ones tells you everything you need to know, they’re shite.

It seems like the manager your board recently sacked did quite a good job in getting this supposed shower of shite as high up the league as he did then

Luckiest Head Coach we’ve ever had, the amount of games we’ve won that we should’nt have and last minute winners at home was ridiculous then is luck run out.
