Don't like being a grumpy sod on such a good night but it's almost a shame we've taken till tonight to adopt that approach. Even if only used on certain occasions it'd have garnered us enough points to have been up a week or two ago. We were so much more effective, far fewer hairy moments, limiting them to so little but still looking dangerous on the counter.

Anyway, on we go, nail the win down early on Tues, hopefully no knocks and onto Wembley

Was amazed the ref allowed it to stand, but he ruled out what appeared to be a perfectly good goal earlier so evened itself out nicely.

Get a an early goal on Tuesday and hopefully should be a nice relaxing game.

Interesting spot,   after full time dion shouting at the rest of the players to get back in the dressing room,   looked like the had been told 'do not over celebrate a win' in no uncertain terms.    Good to see

Strange watching us hoof it long all night but massive credit to Evatt for getting the tactics right. Credit also to Vic and Jerome, took the pressure off after they came on a d got us up the pitch, lovely flick from Vic through to Dempsey took 3 players out.

Just compare that game to the previous play off leg there last year, completely different tactics and outcome.

40% possession compared to 68% last season. We made the uncomfortable and played in behind, could've been out of sight at 2-0.

I think this is the best evidence yet of Evatt showing a plan B and adapting. We could have still been miles better on the ball, however that was some result. 

Tuesday night, let's sell the place out, no pressure, play our game and smash them to pieces.

noticed this, credible way of keeping the ball up in their half and played it well.

Although Vic does look like he's been hitting the gym whilst injured

Cameron Jerome turning into my favourite player. He's too old clearly, but had a level of ability far above most of the strikers at this level and is just a solid professional. If Evatt can get him in his coaching staff long term that would be great.

Back to the game, Charles showed us exactly what we've been missing. His link up play is terrible, but his runs in behind and pressing of the opposition are exceptional. 

Still a bit nervous about the home leg but an early goal will kill it.

Sung solidly for about 20 mins before kick off, it’s a belter!

Atmosphere tonight was one of the best I’ve seen for a while. Probably to be expected considering the result and importance of the game but even before kick off it was buzzing. 

Great game, brilliant result, Santos in that form is too good for this league. Early goal Tuesday and it’s done.
