Loved that WBA play off first leg. Me and birch couldn’t get tickets so travelled up to our ground in the off chance of some spares. A little lad got off one of the coaches with his dad and started spewing. Birch swooped and bought their K&F travel tickets and match tickets off them. Result, what a day that was.

So it looks like we started it and whoever we play are only ever going to get the top tier regardless of how many they could potentially offer us in return

In most cases it wouldn't matter, if we're only giving the top tier we'd probably only get roughly the same anyway at a somewhere like Posh or Oxford and Derby wouldn't any trouble selling the home end out 

The frustration is that we'll be in a less then half full stand that we could sell much more for 

It's not like Barnsley have the demand to use half and segregate but I guess you can't blame them 

I don't see why we couldn't give them the upper and half the lower to get it up to 3k and still have home fans in the lower, it's not like it's going to be a complete sell out

It was always the case that we split the lower throughout the Premier years and I can't remember it causing too many problems with some big away followings.  Barnsley were never likely to shift more than 2k on a Tuesday evening and we won't sell out so I'm sure there was scope to do a reciprocal deal around 3500 which would probably be about right.  This was easily capable of sorting

am I gangsta tripping or summat? Looking at that kit, it was the first season in what is now the championship. We had a cracking run in league, but finished mid table. The following year (94/95) we went up via the playoffs.

Yeah two different games. Initial comment was play offs in 00/01. Home leg was the first game with the ribbons 😔

That video is missing some shocking keeping from Aidan Davison that led to a red and their penalty!

I don't know if I can get that up for a pissing contest between which club can leave the most seats empty for no real reason. Whether we started it or they did, it's sad as fuck.
