They were absolutely shocking. Did more than 30 individual train journeys in 11 days and well over half of them were delayed in some form. Regional ones are bad but inter city ones worse, some coming through on 4+ hour delays.

It's been that way for a couple of years apparently, investment has hit the rocks.

Spain has the backing of the whole of Europe and beyond it seems. The only one's wanting us to win it is us.

Could just be a feeling of generosity and appreciation towards their current hosts. I suspect it's something deeper than that. SIege mentality can produce great results.

Doesn’t surprise me.

What did surprise me was that the Germans are hoping we beat Spain, because they thought they were harshly treated in the quarter by them.

Mind you, pinch of salt with that one, I heard it on Talk Sport.

Giddy as fuck. Ko can't come soon enough.

Results wise Football hasn't been kind to folk my age. Only ever seen England in one major final before tonight and so many moments of heartache. 

I don't believe that you have a "time" but if there is some football god somewhere that England has upset surely it's their "time" to let it go and let the 3 lions roar.

Come on lads do it for the dads and grandads of this great nation make it our time 

 

Woke up feeling confident of lifting the trophy but can only see extra time an pens ffs.

Off the top of my head we have 5/6 champions league winners in the sqaud, Premier League, Fa Cup Winners, big big game players.

In every bit of adversity this tournament we have come through it. That's down to character, big game personalities and a sprinkle of luck.

Spain haven't had a bloody nose yet, Mainoo had Rodri over in May, Williams will get fuck all out of Walker and keep Yamal on his right and we've cracked it.

Our lads have been here before, finals all over the show. They can handle it.

Spain are the favourites and have looked good in the tournament. We need to find a way to contain those dynamite wingers of theirs. 

Holland played an attacking formation against us in that first half and it opened up the game for Phil Foden. It's that type of development I'm hoping for again. 

Somehow this one doesn't yet feel as pressured as Italy at Euro 2020. Maybe we're all that bit more experienced in the latter stages of tournaments now - fans, players, management, the lot of us. 

Come on England, absolute chance of a lifetime.
