Did take me by surprise going back to Germany for first time in a few years the other week at how many places are still cash only, bars and shops etc

That surprises me with Germany, when we went Amsterdam it was all card even backstreet bars

Not common, but there are a couple of places round here that still do cash only.

Called in at Morrisons today, and bought stuff for tea with cash.

In a strange (and clearly unrealistic) way, it felt better as the bank balance wasn't going down! 😁
