Can’t believe that UEFA hasn’t released a statement about substitutions going on the pitch when a team scores. I reckon every one of our squad was on after Watkins scored 😂

Agree - they should have all been booked for that - happens too often

FA want Southgate to stay regardless of what happens Sunday

Of course they do. They are holding the wooden controls at the top of the strings.

England were more fancied than Spain before the tournament started.

If they play to their potential therefore there is no reason they can’t win.

Whatever happens Sunday should be a great atmosphere in our towns and cities.

One last push as the country sure needs a boost.

Same..I think this will be his last

He surely knows he’s not liked.

The pressure will eventually tell and as much as I personally don’t like him, his record stacks up.

Just play well and if we lose at least we can say we were beaten by a better team.

I don’t think he gives a fuck.

Thats a decent trait.

Think he wins then he defo goes. Out at the top and a likely better breed of club job next.

Loses. Maybe Man U will take him. Can see him say 1 more time.

He's "not liked" by fucking morons. I'm sure he'll be able to live with that.

July has (so far) brought a great boost to the country, let’s keep it going.

This isn’t a political thread 😆

I was talking about Netherlands, Switzerland and Evatt finally talking to Whitesince63 on a regular basis. 😉

You not heading over?

Yeh but not out until the morning so will have to look interested in the suggestions of “shall we nip to dunelm” or “what can we do today?” 🤣

He's not getting anywhere near decent club jobs even if he wins this tournament. There's a huge gulf in managing national sides and club sides.

National sides meet up so infrequently that a large part of the job is just creating a good atmosphere, which is where Southgate excels. The tactical side isn't as important at national level, and this is where he struggles. No decent club will touch him because of that.

Personally I think he'll walk after the tournament regardless of the result as he's looked increasingly irritated by the criticism. And then he'll get the USA job or go for a Saudi style payday.

I agree with your analysis but I think he’ll fancy a go at club management as he’s not had a real crack.

I also would dismiss USA or Saudi or another nation as I think it’s not England for him.
