No Henderson in the provisional squad 

The majority of international competitions are essentially played away from the perspective of the teams, so statistically, there won't be that many won at home.

I actually thought Rice was the one who had an off day on Wednesday. Surprised he wasn't subbed off early on.

Mainoo seems competent enough, but Wharton for me is the real prospect. I'd hope he continues his development and is the first choice midfielder for the next tournament.

Agreed. Also worth mentioning that in 66 we played all our games at Wembley.  Other host nations who have gone on to win it, played at various venues (possible exception of Uruguay in 1930)

Nah it's just you. He might not be out best but he is part of a squad that is playing in a major final on Sunday.Not a fucking 'water carrier " in the whole fucking squad

He is a very young player, just making his way at international level.

Already showing class. No doubt he will improve with experience and maturity, but he's not looked out of place.

It won’t be possible to disrupt their possession game. They’re too good at it, which makes me think we will look to sit back and hit them on the counter.

Maybe this is the one where Anthony Gordon or Jarrod Bowen comes off the bench for their turn at having a “moment”?

Can’t believe that UEFA hasn’t released a statement about substitutions going on the pitch when a team scores. I reckon every one of our squad was on after Watkins scored 😂
