Don't suppose you know which is the designated fans first England end at the Serbia game do you, north or south? 

We had 9 days in Nuremberg in 2006, Trinidad & Tobago game then up to Cologne for Sweden, had a great time.

I'm sure things will change once the football starts but last saturday has made me want to give football a wide berth for the time being. I certainly won't be watching the cup final or championship play off final this weekend

I think Bellingham next to rice deffo makes sense to allow palmer to fit it but I do think your hampering Bellingham a bit as his best position is behind the striker. 

There is an argument that palmer foden saka and Bellingham in the same team is overkill but I think in the group stages we should be able to do it. 

I think southgate will play Conor Gallagher next to rice though.

I was there too with my young son. Went all over the world watching England.

Honestly couldn’t give a toss these days though and I prob won’t even watch them on TV.

he's more than capable of playing centre mid though having done it for 4 seasons previously

I was working away years ago (before I actually moved down south) in some place near Basingstoke, think it was Hook.  Anyway, England was playing so me and my mate went to the local pub to watch the game. It was full of wannabe roadmen giving it large to the TVs like they were actually in the ground. It was embarrassing. How my mate kept his cool is beyond me as he has a very short ex-marine fuse.

To be fair Its not everywhere - fine in London, my local now has a lot of Palace or Millwall fans which is normal for here, but watching England games down south in small towns where they don't have a town club and all support Arsenal, Chelsea or West Ham is painful.

I'll be in Whitstable by then so not a hope I'll popping my head into the whatever local it is.

Same thing happened to me when I was working in Market Harborough.

Me and 3 lads off the job watched Holland v England these dicks were bang at it.

Fast forward to midnight and we were rolling round the cobbles with them. Police turned up and took us back to our digs instead of arresting us.

The police were like something off heartbeat and had never been out past 6pm at night round there.

Reckon it's still being spoken about now in the town 20 years on.

So you'd have foden coming off the left. Saka is best coming off the right , foden is better centrally or off the right. He's not as effective coming off the left.

Both Fodens and Bellingham’s best positions are central behind Kane. So it’s a no brainer they both start in front of Rice. Jude is box to box anyway so is well capable of dropping deeper alongside Rice if needed.

Someone has to be on the left though. Saka will definitely be on the right so really that only leaves either Bellingham or foden to play left and then drift in. Either way they cant all be central.

I think barrycowdrill is saying to have those 2 as the advanced midfielders in the 3 with Rice defensive, like we have with Tomo and Maghoma ahead of Sheehan. That then gives room up front for Kane, Palmer, and Saka.

IMO that's probably fine for the group stage but a bit too attacking against the better teams. I'd want someone alongside Rice to give stones and Maguire (we know Southgate will pick him) as much protection as possible.
