Fixtures 24/25

I can hardly control my excitement.

Please be Blackpool and Wigan ASAP to get the beatings done and dusted so we can all fall out then move on.

  • Apathy. I get that it’s 5.30pm and Charlton is a few weeks later, but it’s the first game of the season and not a big allocation. That play off final defeat has done more damage than I think

  • Last thing on earth we need is a full Wrexham stand on our first home game of season. Keep it empty for me. Stick some netting on it and make it look like segregation/police measure.

  • I'd be surprised if they move the game to next season!

Dont be scared of Wrexham fans and James McClean ffs. Newcastle brought getting on for 10,000 with them for  the first home game of the 82/83 season and were outfought on the pitch and well beaten. If they had been restricted to just 2,000 it wouldn't have been such a memorable occasion.

I bet wrexham old timers who attended both the Wrexham v Bolton fixtures in 87/88 when Bolton took the pee at their ground twice can't believe some Bolton people are now scared of Wrexham bringing too many.

Scared?

I'd rather not sit and listen to 5,000 Wrexham fans making a racket in my ear all game thanks.

There's nothing more tinpot than seeing a whole end allocated to an away team. It makes Blackburn and Wigan look embarrassing and we are no different.

It looks shit and it's shit being next to it.

It also make it like a home game for them kicking against an entire packed end.

Leave it fucking empty for me. Couldn't give a fuck about money.

It isn't that long ago Bolton sold out full ends at Arsenal and Liverpool when the home teams couldn't fill their grounds.Liverpool were no doubt embarrassed about the football that night but not really arsed about the crowd.

You wouldn’t hear it from Blackpool 😁

I’m not bothered as I’m not going to Blackpool or Wigan but why is Wycombe not on tele?

Wasn't picked , decision to move the game was an agreement between the two clubs.    It will be on dodgy box i would imagine .

Wycombe Friday night wtf

Hope so. Club selling the fans out a bit on this

Wild putting Wycombe on a Friday night. Said never again after last time. It's still never again.

Them two home games stink of all dayers now though.

Free coach travel by the club was a good shout for the Wycombe game otherwise numbers will be minimal.

I don't even want to think about either fixture till the night before.

Stinks of police overkill and Stinks of getting shown up live on telly.

So is that the fixtures finalised until New Year?

I can just see folk sacking games off this season

It's a bit weird the way it's worded. Is there another "round of picks" before the season starts?

That Wycombe move makes no sense at all!

Bloody mad Friday as well.

There'll be bugger all there.

That's the Chrimbo jolly boys scuppered then.

Three more I won't bother going to.

Hope there aren't too many more homes at 12.30 in New Year, they're a pain in the arse for folk who work on a Saturday am.

Imagine finishing work that Friday lunchtime, colleagues and mates all heading to the pub, and you getting in the car instead, to drive to Wycombe!

Hard core only that night.
