November 11, 20241 yr I think it was the season Bolton were relegated to the 4th Division the first time. Steve Thompson missed a penalty to put Bolton 1-0 up and went on to lose 1-0.Rotherham were on a long losing run and were poor on the day but still won

Huge Wanderers following in the sun, we could touch promotion when TC scored. Not dissimilar to the feeling at Vale a few years ago - boiling April day, packed away end celebrating, then it was snatched away (temporarily in the latter case). That equaliser deep into injury time was the only dropped points in last 5 games of season, if we'd held on we'd have gone up instead of being pipped by Grimsby on GD & Southend by 2 pts. The 90s could have been very different without that goal!

Don’t have a Saturday 3pm for 11 weeks. Bleddy Rooney factor

November 30, 20241 yr Our game with Charlton on Saturday, Jan 11th will be off I think , with them still being in the cup. If so, it's a pity we've already rearranged our game at Rotherham as a night game.

It would be logical to re re-arrange it to the 11th. So it'll definitely be on the 21st.

They’ll have their date now and stick with it rather than say - “Do you know what, these fans have been pissed about with international rearrangements, (despite it being low level L1 football), they’ve had 3 away games rearranged already, so come on let’s give them something to look forward too” It could be an easy to travel to away game, which have been few and far between on Saturdays, a good weekend following, a game which needs a large passionate following behind them. But you just know that these thoughts will be a million miles away from the decision makers. Poor (I would love to be proven wrong and this fixture be moved)
December 3, 20241 yr Sheffield United drawn at home. Rotherham won't be rearranged for that Saturday.

December 3, 20241 yr Yeah. But it could have gone to 11th Jan. Rotherham v Wycombe on TV could have easily change to Rotherham v Bolton Edited December 3, 20241 yr by CJG
