Transfers - Other L1 teams

Interesting to see who some of our "rivals" are signing - so let's have a separate thread to keep the other one for BW chat.

To kick off, Charlton replaced May with Godden from Coventry, looks an excellent signing for this level, 50 goals in 156 games.

Brum partnering May with Juke potentially - Jutkiewicz signed a 1 year deal.  Will be good to see him play here again, one of my favourite strikers of recent times.

And Dan Udoh who looked a handful for Shrewsbury at our place a few months ago has signed for Wycombe.

Bollocks to the other teams. Can end up creating a sense of doom around yourself.  SS has our back, and that's all we can expect now. Fuck Wigan, fuck Stockport, fuck em all. Look

Brum & Rotherham will sort the top 2 spots Then around 10 teams going for play offs (thats my prediction on current transfer activity) people say we need only tweaks yes if the standard

Huddersfield given a 3 year contract to Herbie Kane who played against us for Barnsley in the play offs (can't say I recall him but name rings a bell).

And Anthony Evans from Bristol Rovers as mentioned elsewhere, never heard of him but others seem to speak highly of him.

Looks like I was a fanboy back then too :D

Fucking hell mate

I thought you were on about something I said last season not 13 years ago haha

I was right though at the time

And to think you're reasoning was we're on a tight budget so who else can we sign for £5m

Charlton just signed a decent midfield jock bastard from Hull, think they’ve had their pants pulled down for 1M on that ahadme though

Huddersfield and Birmingham doing some good business already.

Next season going to be much tougher. Last season's fuck up has the potential to set us back 5 years

Rotherham might be building the best league 1 hoofball team we've ever seen. Jonson Clarke Harris and Jordan Hugill up top with the ball constantly being pumped into the box. Them fuckers are made for league 1 football.

Think Evans knows exactly how to get out of this division. They would be my front runners over brum and Hudd

As of now, i predict a finishing position of 5th, behind the 3 that came down, and Charlton. Hope Mr Evatt can come up with some special signings in the next month or so.

Rotherham signed Joseph Hungbo on loan who looked good in the champ at Huddersfield. Definitely think they are going to have a league 1 super team.

Lucas Jenson left Lincoln for Millwall 500k.......

Tom Eaves signed for the Cobblers.

I was gonna say Chris but with all the newbies recently, it would have been a massive Whoosh.

He joins the growing list of current players that used to be above us, now playing for lesser teams/clubs.

Sounded ridiculous until I read that the transfer embargo was lifted yesterday, obviously had them all lined up.  All 1 year deals.

Tom White is one of them, he kicked a ball for us once.

So did I until I read it and White was poor when he played for us.

I think you're bigging him up there.
