He knows me better than that, I hope with the 'old boy's name' comment he meant Joe Galvin, a great bloke who I ran with in the 70's and 80's, Keeley will never forget him, nobody who ever ran for Lei

  • Anyone feeling slightly emotionally unstable today probably should leave this till later, amazing stuff.

  • Perhaps mentioned, but there's a Cameroonian boxer (Cindy Ngamba) playing for the Refugee Olympic Team who resides in Bolton

Bit of a Reekie run by Jemma

Another one of those supposed medal certs that have gone to pot this Olympics

100m winner seems a somewhat modest character 😂

Thought he’d have been knackered after bouncing halfway down the track when he was first announced. Got to feel for the photographers trying to keep up with him afterwards.

0.12 between the field, slowest ran 9.91

Winning by five thousandths of a second

Bloody hell

Not seen someone enter the track like that before!

This shooter bird was robbed.

She's pissed here as well.

Deffo robbed.

The woman has lost 9 times to other women, were they complaining? The Italian simply didn't have the fight in her.

She was born with a fanny (she might well have some dodgy chromosomes) but she's entitled to consider herself female.

I also doubt the legitimacy of the Russian controlled boxing federation that banned her.

And ?

Maybe the Italian is crap at her sport , I dont know if she had the guts strength or skill to compete.

The Algerian is perfectly entitled to consider her self female , just as I am entitled to consider my self a fire engine if I want to , doesnt make it true tho.

She has female genitalia , so to you its external genitalia that defines sex , that is your right however incorrect you are.  Chromasomes define sex end of.

And you can doubt the moon landing, that pyramids were built by humans, the Earth is round or the boxing governing body . that makes no difference to anything other than to reinforce your incorrect opinion . But its your opinion and you are welcome to it.

Our 2 pole vault girls have failed to qualify for the final....

I thought we were gonna win that with Molly, she's looked good this year....

At least neither will have knocked it off with their dick!

Second in the final, despite dominating the earlier rounds.

Canoe seemed to briefly "stick" on the start slope, and he did well to get second in the end.

Aye, looks like only sport where they are having a good laugh.

Women's hockey just started, and the Dutch scored within seconds. Dunno what our defender was doing, but she backed off from the attacker and simply let her shoot. Weird.

GB qualified 2nd in the Men's Team Pursuit. The Aussies were a surprise 1st...

In the next round they race against Denmark (3rd). Winner goes for Gold against Aussies or Italy (4th)....

It was subsequently broken twice.

Then our lasses broke it again!

A bit of a bizarre process.

Why bother having an intermediate "race" when winning it doesn't guarantee any progression?

May as well just jeep going against the clock.
