Jol_BWFC
Well done to the rowers. Good start to the day. Could be a good quiz question: Apart from boxing (💣) in which women’s only Olympic sport can men win a medal?

Missed the men winning the 8s, but just in time to see the medal ceremony. It's fantastic to see all the successful rowers belting out the anthem. Every so often a sports person emerges that's been given a biological advantage by the generic lottery. This is her second Olympics it's not like Tyson Fury stuck some lippy on and decided to box the ladies. She is facing a woman though in a sport where you're going to get punched in the face. Trying to get some sort of anti-trans backlash against your stronger opponent because she beat you is bullshit Im not sure what your definition of a woman is (or a man for that matter) but Ill stick with the science , XY chromosomes equals male . "SHE" has XY chromosomes. Maybe you just like to see women getting battered unfairly.

Nothing better to pose a reasonable response with. As I posted earlier, boxing and other "fighting" sports have weight categories for a reason. Perhaps to mitigate "genetic" advantages (prefer common sense myself).

The Italian simply didn't have the fight in her. She was born with a fanny (she might well have some dodgy chromosomes) but she's entitled to consider herself female. I also doubt the legitimacy of the Russian controlled boxing federation that banned her.

Members Lt. Aldo Raine
It doesn't matter how many times she's lost to a woman when it comes to eligibility There's a fair possibility she may be a male with a DSD, which is a bigger issue than dodgy chromosomes Re. doubting the legitimacy of the IBA: I can understand why there might be concerns but I'm not entirely sure what their motivation would be in this instance, and I think it's worthy of note that neither athlete opted to take their case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Khelif initially did appeal before withdrawing, and Yu-ting chose not to appeal at all) I think this is ultimately a failure of responsibility on the part of the IOC Â

Facts in this case pretty clear.
