Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 6 Site Supporter Share Posted August 6 A bit surprised to see him get the silver. He looked good as he came upon the shoulder of ingotbullshit, but that septic came from nowhere. Fair play to him.

Rowing, triathlon. Reckon more to come in the velodrome, and really looking forward to the modern pentathlon which starts tomorrow.
Members bolty58
Now the swimming has finished, I am hopeful that we can get past the Aussies in Golds. I have one neighbour shouts across every time he sees me "Still kicking your arses" etc. No competition for overall medals but need some velodrome golds etc. over the last 4 days to shut the fucker up! If we do, I'll get the union flag draped over the balcony rail and lob a trifle at him.

But she’s one of those that is absolutely made for life now isn’t she? $50,000 per gold medal winner paid by the French Olympic Comittee , plus individual countries bonuses like the Phillipino kid that won gold in the gymnastics was promised a house an 10 acres of land (he won 2 golds) . There was an officail complaint against a GB runner in the 60's by the IOC because GB had paid his bus fare to get to training thereby making him a professional.

The Dutch bloke didn't stay at the Olympic Village, but the concerns will still be there.

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 7 Site Supporter Share Posted August 7 Danny Mills' lad been put through the heats after an appeal. Fucking Frog caused him to fall into othe athletes and they all ended up sprawled on the track. The afters weren't particularly edifying, but he's definitely a chip off the block! 🤣
