Went to that on National Express.

Held up in traffic and I didn’t get to the ground until 330.

It was locked up and I had to bang on the away entrance.

Eventually someone appeared and they let me in for free.

I missed our goal.

The start of a great run.

Was it Easter time and did Andy May score for us ?

I did an away game about that time when we won, was down in London with some mates for weekend. Lumped over on my own.

And I am asking you pal why you think his fellow pros voted in the team of the season.

It’s one of those inexplicable mysteries.

Kane Wilson had a much better season

No that one was Easter Sat.

2 days before the Bradford Arms Burnley game on Easter Monday.

Assuming it was the Storer goal, we arrived just as they were closing the turnstiles.

Got in, asked an old boy copper if there was any score, and went for a piss.

As soon as I emerged back onto the terrace, a diagonal ball was hit to the right wing, that he ran onto and placed over the keeper.

Yes, and without what looked like their best player last season, the left winger Archibald, currently injured.  They won't go up but hopefully take some points off some of the other contenders.

Thank god he wasn't playing. He looked an absolute world beater on the game at the Reebok.

I agree, they look solid, so getting 3 points away is an excellent result. Cracking star to the season

They will do fuck all with that keeper though. The second goal was a howler but not sure what he was doing with first, he must have shorter arms than Jordan Pickford

How many times did you watch him?

Its a pointless discussion, none of us know, we don't watch every player every minute of every game.

Let's just enjoy watching our team, a great win today, arguably our best away win of 2024 aside from play offs.

Jesus fuck, no wonder I keep to the nobber side, this is fucking depressing for the 1st game of the season where we actually won.

Not pretty and not the best, says nearly every fucking club in country on day one. FFS.

Issue is everyone is a tactical genius cos they won a game on fifa

He looked, shall we say 'subjued, when he scored.

Probably showing a bit of respect to Orient.Thats where he started his career

True. That first goal especially looked bad, just push it away rather than hope its going wide. But I can't imagine he'll play like that every week, and they looked all round a decent side.

Sets us up nicely for next week v Wrexham!

Yes if ever the 2 keepers was the difference between the sides.  Did their keeper make any save at all other than the unthreatening free kick from McAtee? The match boiled down to Kelman v Baxter, and their keeper having an off day, and obviously 2 decent shots from our strikers but they aren't goals if Baxter plays for them.

Its very satisfying to get an away win without having to be the best side, very rare for us.
