He has a huge self destruct button which will stop him managing at the level he wants to.

I’ll be intrigued to see if he takes responsibility for this today. He can’t ever hold his own players to account for their behaviour when he goes around behaving the way he does.

First 45 was unacceptable. Lazy fucking crap. Even at 2-0 down I knew we wouldn't lose it. Got to beat shite like that at home. Proper wound up.

Yep I’ve not got a problem with that fuck them but  save it for the tunnel

I've had my issues with Evatt, and still have with that first half!

However I'm glad he told that referee he'd fucked us over, and he only faced off against that ginger prick. So how one can get sent off and one a yellow is beyond me!!

Those dropped points aren't on the ref, they're on Evatt. If you concede an identical goal from a set piece against the same opponents (& the same player?) just 6 or 7 home games later, then you're either too arrogant to change or you're feckin thick.

He's undeniably thick

What an utter moron

Wish our board would get a move on. Just wasting our season the more chances we give him.

It’s awful the abuse Evatt and his son received. But to talk about crossing lines & then go & do that makes you look a reet idiot.

If I didn't think he was a bit thick I'd think he was trying to get himself sacked for the better pay off.

Great effort 2nd half, not sure how we haven't won that.

Few tired bodies and minds in the last 10 minutes or so, just didn't fall for us.

All that said, we really don't need to be starting off so slowly against teams like this.

Get at them and dominate from the off.

Need 10 from the next 12 to get us in the mix.

Let's be fair..... As much as he is an embarrassing prick at times with his histrionics, we'd all be delighted if his team showed a bit of passion & aggression.

They used to say a team resembled its manager, we are the exception to that rule. We are like the shy, quiet kid with the bully for a father.

Totally unprofessional. What was needed today was a really solid 2-0 win, no drama, goal in each half, Shrewsbury not given a sniff.  What we got was more casual arrogance. Strolling out as if the win was in the bag.

There has been endemic defensive incompetence this season. We are four games unbeaten but in three of them the frailties have been clear to see - Crawley being the exception.

It's great having the firepower we've got. But you get nowhere if you leak goals at the rate we are.

These levels of inconsistency are the stuff of League 1 standard footballers. If you want to play at a higher level the basic minimum is concentration and the right attitude over 90 minutes plus. This lot don't deliver that. It's why we didn't go up last year and we're seeing it all over again.

I think we actually resemble him a lot

He's a goon.

Worst is we're now going to get 2 weeks of saying how sorry he is

I hope we do. But I really don’t think we will.

We can all disagree on football stuff, and understand that football is an emotional game where people lose their temper, but his behaviour today (unless there is something we don’t know) was the straw that broke the camels back for me.

His antics on the touch line, coupled with private life issues being brought into work, are ridiculous.

I hear a lot of talk about ‘values’ coming from our club figurehead. They don’t seem to apply to him.
