Next Manager

...and so it begins.

The lunatics are out in force already.

Sean Dyche or John McGinlay my favourites so far :D

Really hope it works out for him.

  • We don't need a sentimental appointment here to put a fire out. Like said above, we are fully loaded and ready to go. It's actually a dream job for someone. Sqaud full of talent ✅️ Dece

Darby, Taylor and Tutte confirmed as interim management

Dream team.

With Jules Darby being interim, will he not be recommending Billy Davies for the job? Jules has been his assistant hasn’t he?

I just want to know if Ormerod has stayed on. Ignoring all phonecalls on his way in this morn

Joking aside I’m with you on this. Have one in ear shot at work who’s a 10 and I can’t hack it and no I don’t work with big E.

I'm not sure I could handle it! 🤣

Of bundesliga 3. Bet that’s the equivalent of Sunday league

Perhaps a bit better, and crowds, although impressive, aren't the only indicator.

He's been flitting around the lower leagues there for some time.

We've just got rid of a chap who came from lower down, albeit with a good reputation.

Right man for the time, but perhaps someone with a bit more experience now. Or at least someone with a more pragmatic approach.

Of course we could never know for sure, but a manager from another country, with an average record of success, would have the fans scratching their heads.

They've got season tickets to sell and need to engender a sense of positivity quickly.

Scott Green could be a good outside bet. Got all his badges and knows the club.

I think the new mon might be that type, to be fair

Left field if true.

Conway would come back!

Can't find out whether he's married, or a serial shagger.

What's Browny up to?

Wine, women and song.

I reckon it will be someone we’ve never heard of. Either a coach at one of the top teams (I.e McKenna), foreign or from L2 / national league

Turned down Burton in December, I think we’d be too big of a pull to resist..

It's never usually someone in the early betting odds

Sounds like a solicitors office based on somewhere like Haliwell Road

Had a good look at all the names in the frame and had a chance to think a bit now the work day is done.

Schumacher has done nothing wrong in his managerial career. Nobody seems to make it stick at Stoke and he'd won as many games as he'd lost in the ridiculously short spell he was afforded.

As things stand he's my no 1 choice. I reserve the right to change my mind half a dozen times between now and breakfast tomorrow though 🙂

David Lee must be high up on the list.

Is Markham overseeing this?

Him and Phillips could be the new Rioch and Todd

Just seen a Facebook post of Fat Sam dressed as a buff superman FFS.

Yeah fair. I know it’s a better than Sunday league, I agree that a 59 year old bundesliga 3 manager would be an odd appointment

With the comments that he'd tried to resign in September and the board rejected it, might mean this decision has been in the offing for awhile. Who knows it could mean a new manager is closer than we expect with so many important games coming up.
