...and so it begins.

The lunatics are out in force already.

Sean Dyche or John McGinlay my favourites so far :D

Really hope it works out for him.

  • We don't need a sentimental appointment here to put a fire out. Like said above, we are fully loaded and ready to go. It's actually a dream job for someone. Sqaud full of talent ✅️ Dece

I think she might sell up in the summer, which I think would be a sad thing

It would, though it might not be an easy sell if we're still in league one.

MJ may also not want out, so that's another factor.

Just reading the article, Dean Holden also mentioned.

Mixed managerial career, but I remember an interview he gave, and he came across really well, and spoke about how he had learned a lot from BSA.

Rob Edwards did well getting unfancied Luton promoted too. My only concern there is his relationship with IE, with the chance of a drip feed of information.

I hope that's true.

If it isn’t it should be.

MJ never wanted in

I dont think he wants owt to do with running a club

It was noticeable Evatt referred to 'working with Sharon and Nick'

He also mentions everyone else in the running. Nothing story.

Picking enough names out of a hat and then he can say he’s ripped it all along. Don’t blame him, it’s the usual local journo route.

Seeing the Okocha documentary and the enthusiasm that Nolan clearly has for the club, I bet he’s gutted he didn’t keep clear of the Northampton job.

Get the feeling that we’re going to go with someone currently without a job, but then again we went for Allardyce when we were skint*, so who knows.

*Well aware we did our best to avoid paying anything!

We could approach Northampton if the board thought he was their man.

Ok he hasn't been there long, but it is no different to anyone else currently in post.

They could replace him with Evatt!

Ironically Nolan has just signed that midfielder from Charlton that we were linked with (Terry Taylor)

Would everyone agree that Schumacher seems to be firmly in the driving seat?

It could quite easily go downhill quickly..

I know Troy Swoosh thinks he's the pits, but I think he's in pole position now.

O'Neil creeping up I see

David Wagners name has appeared now, he’d be my top choice.

I think with schumacher it would just be an accident waiting to happen

would love Nolan tbh

Apparently plays the same way as Evatt! Are we all comfortable with that? I wasnt anti Evatt as a person, i was anti his boring football, along with other issues. Surely we dont want the same boring football?

Of the names we've been linked to and even though it won't matter a jot,my preference would be

 1st choice Wagner

2nd Schumacher

3rd O'Neill

Would love it to be Dyche but I don't think we've got a chance

Could be a slippery slope to oblivion.

He might do a lap of honour if he got us promotion

I know the wheels came off at Stoke, but I’m sure he could do a job getting us back to the top of the (drivers) championship

Schumacher be a good appointment, massive blue too. 🤣

Favoured formation of 4-3-3

no more needs to be said really

I'm surprised that Gareth Ainsworth hasn't had a mention. His teams not only play attacking football, but are tough. Something that we've been missing for a while.

it's because he only took the Shrewsbury job 2 months ago
