As you say, think experiencing it back here might be much more preferable. Still one of my life's dreams to go to a World Cup final, but think I'll be waiting a while! Quote

Aye, I'm sure that Thogden bloke will be all over it. Fair play to him I suppose, but the content will be full on cringe Edited 18 hours ago by Sweep Quote
green genie Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Could all be dull as hell unless African teams spring some surprises. Fancy Morocco to catch Brazil off guard Quote

Look at their squad and it's not exactly elite with various Wolves players in it, etc. Vinicius Jr a long way from their greats. I'd have them as also-rans. Will die on this hill. Quote
Dr. Feelgood Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Well, having been educated by those itk I've slapped the house on Norway winning it. Quote

History tells me that Brazil and Argentina will be hard nuts to crack in the Americas. I'm already on Argentina (since last year) to win it with savers on Brazil and a couple of European giants. Hard to look past Spain or France at the moment although they're probably meeting in the SF. Portugal are up there if they drop CR7 and Martinez. England have a good chance of getting to the final, so it's anyone's guess. Senegal at 100/1 a good outside bet, I think they're genuinely elite. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Surely the USA are the greatest football team in the world. By far. Plus, the Don will just threaten to bomb or invade whichever nations they come up against. Quote

Think if England and France win their groups we play them in the QF. In Miami, open air stadium in July with a 5pm local time kick off. So yeah youre right. France in the semis. Quote

Just asking cos without checking I've not a clue how it all works out. Quote

But that's only if they win their groups.... I've had a few beers so may be wrong... Quote

Assuming a first-place group finish, the potential route involves a round-of-32 match in Atlanta (July 1), a round-of-16 clash in Mexico City (July 6), a quarter-final against Brazil in Miami (July 11), and a semi-final against Argentina in Atlanta (July 15), leading to a July 19 final in New Jersey Quote
