July 11, 20251 yr Not a lot from either team in open play. We played some neat stuff quite late and had a goal disallowed for a tight offside from McAtee 2-0 to Bolton. Both from Left sided set-pieces
July 11, 20251 yr Looked disciplined, well organised and purposeful with the ball. Pretty good for a pre-season friendly at this early stage.

July 11, 20251 yr A glorified training session & I wouldn't make any judgements based just on that, but some promising signs & a wins a win. Conway didn't look out of place, Big Dave seems to have got bigger !, Simons is bigger than I expected & might be the midfield bruiser we've been crying out for & Mendes Gomes was probably the stand out player. If he can stay fit, (a big if ) he may still be good for us.
