  • This is now my des-res in Yorkie Land. 10 minute walk up across a sheep field and we're on the coast to coast walk... we follow this for a short distance onto the moor then cut off along a track

Betty's tea room is one of life's massive disappointments as is another Yorkshire attraction, that chippy in Whitby where they queue outside (overpriced averageness) and not a patch on Seniors in Lytham.

I went to Halifax the other week for the first time in my life and really enjoyed it.

Peace/Piece Hall is a belting place and loved the pubs and little gaffs in the town centre.

It is a belting town for pubs, the bloke doing that Great British Pub Crawl on FB had a whale of a time

Betty’s Tea Room blend is the best by far imo. I buy 1kg loose leaf online and share it with mother. Same company as Yorkshire Tea. Not cheap but lovely

Everyday supermarket tea bags in the Manc household usually Lancashire Tea or Thompson’s Irish Breakfast

Thompson's are excellent. We've long had Punjana as our favourite tea bags, from the Co-op but produced by them. Their Irish Breakfast also spot on 👍

Not drunk a cup of tea for about 40 years

We used to have Lancashire tea, then we had a few bad boxes that didn't taste right, been on Thompsons since.

I tend to have Roobios tea, I had a caffine free kick a few years ago and started on them,

Very rarely drink tea, if i do it has to be black & piss weak so no point really buying it, however i do like them peppermint herbal teas, Tetley tea do a really nice one.

All that Yorkshire tea shite all comes from the same place in Harrogate i think, they also do some awful coffee that tastes like a cup of mud.

L'or for us or illy or the Lungo from lidl is very good.

not even proper Yorkshire.

it's like a bit of Surrey that got lost on it's way somewhere.

If I drink tea it's earl grey

Had a loose leaf phase but not had any on a regular basis in a long time

Grind beans and do drip coffee these days

Used to work with a fat woman who was from Harrogate, every time she mentioned the words "in Harrogate" i used to pretend she'd said inadequate.

If you like fruit/herbal tea type things, then @tomski is your man. He loves them, recently he keeps banging on about Tumeric & Ginger one he's found, which at least is a change from when he kept waffling on about a peppermint and nettle concoction a few months ago
