Just opinions and we all see it differently but I thought Randall played better against Birmingham and Northampton (great assists but played well apart from those) and Charlton (really good goal in a game we should have won).  No complaints about yesterday but he's had better games IMO.

I'm in the Randall played well club. I wanted him to have a run of games in the 10 position, to genuinely have the chance to show us what he's got (or not got).

Only one game but he showed plenty for me, considering he's playing that role in a side with two bombing wingers rather than a side who knits nice passing patterns and plays through that player a lot. He worked hard, ran a lot, got involved well in pressing from the front and, although not on the ball that much, when he was he showed touch and quality. We had more cohesion from back to front with Sheehan, Simons and him on the park 

For me he's more suited to the role than McAtee and, if he gets another 5 or 6 games in the role I reckon he'll cement his place. 

McAtee's issue is there are too many things he's not. He's evidently bucked his ideas up in pre season and looks fitter but there's more required, wherever he thinks he should be playing. He was hard done to yesterday, mind, when ACD didn't play him in at the end, he'd have scored and the goal might have done him good.

Im sure if ACD had passed to McAtee when he was clean through yesterday McAtee would've scored

I think he's at his best when it's put in front of him by another player or he's able to run with it in space

dunno, but think whilst him and Randall at both "number tens" they're still different players

McAtee got 11 last season, couldn't imagine Randall getting that many way he plays for us

given both cost £1M+, it's a bit shite that it's one or the other

aye, I checked his stats

he's got 1 for us

I can see why McAtee would get double figures playing as a #10 because he has some aggresion about him in going forward

Randall isn't like that, he seems more likely to get double figures in terms of assists

I'll be delighted if he gets double figures for us this season, goals or assists
