Seems a bit mad the Lionesses came home to 10 Downing street decked out in George Cross flags , but if the MSM are to be believed councils are removing them as fast as they can!

If you have a standard car then it's pretty straight forward,  any mods and it'd gotta go to a specialist even if it's a standard fix..

perhaps the rules have changed since you did it. If you're on the motability scheme and break down you ring the RAC who take you to either the nearest dealership or the one closest to home depending on the issue. Perhaps the wheelchair adapted vans have different rules but the majority of motability cars will go straight to dealerships.

I'm aware of how it works.

I'm also aware that the system is totally flawed, and some of the awards are truly ridiculous. The full data is available apparently, though not sure where, but there are enough examples to leave you shaking your head.

I could also give a prime example of someone not too far away from me, but I won't go into details.

As I said, it has been going on for decades.

Anyhow, I’m all for people being patriotic or whatever if they want, but the current crop of flagshaggers are a walking contradiction. They complain about the flag being linked to racism or xenophobia or whatever, then say they’re going to use the flag to show how much they hate migrants.

Some of us were telling them years ago what was coming. Looks like the penny has finally dropped.

I don't understand how anybody could have a problem with people flying the flag of the nation in which they were born. Pride in your home country is something that is so normal abroad that it goes without comment. The three countries in which I have travelled most are the USA, Turkey and France. In each of those countries you are never a few steps away from seeing the national flag on show somewhere. 

This is a campaign against those who want to silence people with whom they disagree/don't share a world view. Same old tactic: Call them racist/label them far-right and thus avoid having to have a debate with them, whether that be on border/immigration policy or anything else. JD Vance is right.

People are absolutely sick and tired of wokery and a Labour party so immersed in it that it hasn't just forgotten its working class roots but it actively reviles them.

If seeing Union flags and the St George's cross everywhere irritates the wokes - then it is doing its job. We do not share your values, we do not share your world views and that is never going to change. We are not an homogenised woke society, we are a plurality with a culture of free speech. If you don't like hearing views alternative to your own you have one hell of a lot of growing up to do.

You mention other countries. Yes no one says flying a flag in inherrently wrong, but this is flaying the flag for one viewpoint, one that is divisive and ironically against most values in which is country ised to pride itself on. As i say, its just depressing what a small minded, ill educated little nation parts of it have become.

Although seeing someone put red tape over street furniture is quite amusing.

The flags of which you speak, are they usually proper flags, or daubings on bedsheets, that look a bit naff, of ones that have slogans written on them? 

As I said yesterday, I drove through Milton Keynes, and it looked absolutely shit, crap flags, bedsheets, poorly painted roundabouts. I also drove through a Cambridgeshire village, and it looked great. My problem isn't the flag shagging, that's fine, it's the scruffy attempts, that lets be honest, look absolutely terrible. It's almost as though the shitter the flag, the more of a patriot people think they are

I drove up to Sowerby Bridge yesterday and there were England flags on a lot of the motorway bridges. 

I couldn't help but notice that the number of small boats crossing the channel has come to an immediate halt today - so they must have served their purpose! 😁
